Für uns war die Villa genau das Richtige. Sehr ruhig gelegen, ca 2 Autominuten von der Küstenstrasse.Der Pool ist super und wurde während des Aufenthalts mehrfach gepflegt.Die Küche hat alles was man braucht in gutem Zustand.Wir werden gerne wieder kommen!

Absolutely fabulous

We started our honeymoon here and from the beginning it was amazing, the villa was fully equipped with everything you need for a perfect stay. The pool and views are great and you feel very secluded, only piece of advise is to hire a car we struggled up the hill with shopping in your heat and achievement in itself but not one to repeat we hired a car and visited Chania, Matala, Rethymno and Lake Kournas all wonderful in their own right, Elena couldn’t have done anymore for us and was so attentive, we will definitely return

Lovely family villa in the countryside by the coast

Delightful secluded villa with pool. Elena is a lovely host who immediately acted to solve the little niggles that came up and was quick to provide helpful information throughout our stay. She generously supplied a bottle of sherry and breakfast food essentials when we arrived, which was very kind and most appreciated after our long journey.

Beautiful property

We stayed in this beautiful property in a beautiful location. Elena is really friendly and helpful. I would suggest hiring a car as the beach and shops are a little too far to walk and the roads arent really pedestrian friendly. The pool is a little too deep for children to reach the floor but as long as they can swim its fine, or just buy a bunch of floats. As a family we had an amazing two weeks at thos property and would 100% stay again.

The Villa that you are looking for!

Elena and Pelagia have put a tremendous amount of effort into making sure that the Villa is exactly what would be best for a holiday. Everything that you need is included and it all works. If there are any problems they are quick to respond….. even when our daughter accidentally locked us all out. The real blessing in the hot weather was the air conditioning. Ein wunderschöner Aufenthalt

Das Objekt - und der Pool - sind schön, sauber und ruhig. Die Gastgeber waren sehr freundlich, antworteten immer zügig. Bei der Anreise waren im Kühlschrank Lebensmittel für das Frühstück am ersten Morgen vorhanden und wir wurden an einem Abend mit sehr leckerem kreitschen Essen versorgt. Die Bettwäsche und die Handtücher wurden während unseres 10-tägigen Aufenthaltes gewechselt. Sie wären sogar ein weiteres Mal gewechselt worden, wenn wir dies gewollt hätten. Die Check-in- und Check-out-Zeiten wurden freundlicherweise leicht verändert aufgrung unserer Flugzeiten. Wir können den Aufenthalt dort sehr empfehlen.

Schöne Villa

Die Villa samt Ausstattung und Pool ist wirklich sehr schön und die Vermieterin sehr nett. Nur die Lage hatte ich mir anders vorgestellt. In der Anzeige von FEWO Direkt hieß es, dass es nur 10 Minuten zu Fuß zum Strand wären. Das war nicht so. Mit dem Auto waren es 10 Minuten. Wir hatten uns für das Objekt entschieden, da wir gerne am Abend mal zu Fuß auf ein Glas Wein oder einen Cocktail gegangen wären. So blieben wir also zuhause. Das war sehr schade und entsprach nicht unseren Vorstellungen.

Fantastic family holiday

We have just returned from a fantastic 2 week stay at this villa and can not recommend it enough. We have stayed in villas for most of our family holidays and villa Elena is by far the best equipped. We made full use of the pool, BBQ and bread/pizza oven. The hosts were extremely helpful and even made us a traditional Greek dinner of meatballs, potatoes and salad which was delicious. Cleaning of the property was offered twice a week along with fresh bed linen and towels. There are 2 villas on this property however each have their own private pool and BBQ area and we did not feel any loss of privacy. The local beach and shops are about a 20 minute walk however we only did this once due to the heat. Driving and parking is not an issue in the local area. Overall we had a fantastic stay and could not have felt more welcome. We will definitely be looking to return in the future. Thank you.

Schönes Haus auf großem Grundstück

Wir haben im Juli 2022 hier zwei Wochen verbracht und sind super zufrieden gewesen! Elena und Pelagia sind sehr freundlich. Zwei Mal die Woche wurden die Handtücher getauscht und auf Wunsch die Betten frisch bezogen. Alle Räume waren sauber und ordentlich. Die Küche ist mit allem ausgestattet was man so braucht. In jedem Raum gibt es eine Klimaanlage. Es befinden sich zwei Villen auf dem Grundstück, wobei wir von den anderen Gästen nie etwas mitbekommen haben. Wir haben über Elena und Pelagia einen Shuttle vom Flughafen gebucht und waren auch hier sehr zufrieden. Die beiden standen uns auch sonst zu jeder Zeit bei Fragen per whatsapp zur Verfügung! Der Außenbereich ist sehr gepflegt und der Pool hatte eine perfekte Größe. Da er 1,60 tief ist, ist es mit Kleinkind nicht optimal, aber das wussten wir vorher, von daher war dies vollkommen ok. Sie haben einen eigenen kleinen Spielplatz, den wir aber kaum genutzt haben, weil wir uns lieber am Pool aufgehalten haben. Einen Tag hat Pelagia uns sogar griechisches Essen vorbei gebracht. Zu den beiden und dem Haus können wir nur gutes Berichten! Lediglich die Lage ist etwas beschwerlich. Leider wussten wir nicht, dass das Haus 900m auf dem Berg!! Liegt. Für jedenit Auto kein Problem, aber wir hatten uns auf Grund der enormen Preisentwicklung der Mietwagen dagegen entschieden. Leider haben wir auch erst am vorletzten Tag einen schönen Strandabschnitt gefunden an einem Hotel, den man nutzen konnte, wenn man dort Liegen gebucht hat. Dort gibt es fußläufig auch nur zwei Lokale, alle unten am Berg. Wer ohne Auto dort Urlaub machen möchte und nicht gerne viel läuft, sollte sich doch überlegen ein Auto zu Mieten. Wem das nichts ausmacht oder wer einen Mietwagen leiht, der kann hier tolle Ferien verbringen! Wir sind einfach viel Taxi gefahren, das geht dort zu den Preisen auch sehr gut. Wir würden auf jeden Fall wieder Urlaub bei Elena und Pelagia machen, das Haus ist super, alles sehr gepflegt und die beiden sind super zuverlässig und sehr gastfreundlich! Jeder Zeit wieder!

Absolut super und empfehlenswert

Das Haus und der Garten mit den 4 Terrassen, Pool und Holywoodschaukel waren absolut schön und haben die Bilder der Anzeige übertroffen. Wir haben uns so wohl gefühlt, die Ruhe mit der Natur am Morgen genossen. Alle Sehenswürdigkeiten in der Umgebung und Rethymno nicht weit entfernt. Schöne Strände in der Umgebung. Die Gastgeber haben uns in den 2 Wochen 2x mit leckerem, griechischen Essen bekocht. Wir lieben Kreta und die Menschen dort. Einfach absolut super alles.

Wonderful family holiday

We enjoyed a wonderful 12-day-stay in the villa. The pool, the garden and the barbecue area are very nice and you have plenty of space (we're 2x adults, 1x kid). The house is equipped with everything you need, kitchen, stuff you need for barbecue, dishwasher and washing machine, air condition, wifi - we did not miss any comfort. Reception, communication and support was very easy and friendly. As others wrote before, I'd also recommend to have a car. The sea or or a supermarkets are not that far away, but you're more flexible e.g. to go to Rethymno (very nice) or do tours across the Island. We had a great time, we'd definitely recommend this place to others. The only thing we regret is that our holidays did end too soon :-)

wunderschöner Garten

Das Ferienhaus liegt in einem wunderschön gepflegten Grundstück, von den Nachbarn in der 2. Villa ist kaum etwas zu merken. Die Kommunikation mit Elena und Pelagia war unkompliziert und sehr nett, Elena hat für uns sogar einmal typisches Essen gekocht. Unbedingt empfehlenswert für 4 Personen, die schwimmen können, denn der tolle Pool ist mit 1,60m nix für kleine Kinder. Der Mietwagen war sehr nötig, denn die halbe Stunde zum Strand in der Sonne auf der Straße zu laufen war kein großes Vergnügen.

Toller Herbsturlaub in ruhiger Lage

Wir haben eine Woche Herbstferien mit unseren beiden Kindern (8) (11) im Haus verbracht. Das Haus ist ist einfach eingerichtet, aber es ist alles vorhanden was man benötigt. Es ist sehr sauber und wurde in der Woche ein weiteres Mal gesäubert. inkl. Handttuchtausch. Top! Wir haben einen ersten Einkauf für ein Frühstück im Kühlschrank gehabt und wurden von der Vermieterin einmal sogar traditionell bekocht. Das war wunderbar. Das Grundstück ist weitläufig mit einem weiteren Ferienhaus auf der Fläche. Wenn man sich nicht begegnen möchte, kann man es gut vermeiden. Die Fläche ist rundherum eingefriedet und es gibt einen eigenen Spielplatz auf dem Gelände. Dieses macht es bestimmt für Familien mit kleineren Kindern nochmal attraktiv. Die großen kamen mit den kostenlos zur Verfügung gestellten Fahrrädern auf Ihre Kosten. Es gibt nahegelegenen gute Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und der Strand ist auch schnell erreichbar. Ohne Auto ist man allerdings verloren ;-) Wir haben uns gut erholt und wohl gefühlt.

Wir hatten eine tolle Zeit in Elenas und Pelagias Haus! Es war alles genau wie im Inserat beschrieben. Einfach super, entspannend und vor allem ruhig. Vom benachbarten Haus haben wir nichts gehört oder mitbekommen. Die Kommunikation mit Pelagia war super einfach und wir hatten auf unsere Fragen immer sofort eine ausführliche Antwort (zB was wir vor Ort unternehmen könnten). Die beiden waren sehr hilfsbereit und Elena hat sogar für uns griechisch gekocht. Sehr sehr lecker! Und hat es an absolut nichts gefehlt. Wir kommen gerne wieder:)

Three very nice weeks in the upper villa

We spent three very nice weeks in the upper villa. Mostly in the garden but also on the very beautiful beach (Corali Beach). The two villas are very quiet in the middle of olive groves - and ours also had a wonderful sea view. The property also offers many possibilities with sunbeds and pool. Elena took care of us, including small delicate dishes of Greek cuisine, which she brought us again and again. The description (FEWO-DIREKT) is correct in all statements. Internet (Wi-Fi) we used for streaming’s on the TV and Homeoffice - performance was very good. We can - and will - recommend the Villas unrestrictedly.

Séjour en famille reposant et très agréable

Nous avons passé une semaine très agréable avec nos 2 grands adolescents dans la villa d’Elena et Pélagia. La maison est nichée au milieu d’un champ d’oliviers où chantent les grillons. Vous y trouverez tout le confort, un beau jardin, terrasses aménagées et une piscine où nous avons passé la plus part de notre temps. Pelagia est une hôte très sympathique, facilement joignable et nous la remercions encore de nous avoir fait découvrir un repas traditionnel. Sinon la maison tout en étant au calme reste proche des commerces et restaurants. Nous recommandons fortement la villa d’Elena et Pelagia.

September Break

The property was great. We stayed for a week and had a great time. Our host, Pelagia, was welcoming and very helpful in what to do, where to go and what to see. The pool offered a refreshing break from the heat of the sun and the local supermarket supplied all needed for out brief stay. The location itself allowed us to visit a multitude of different beaches and sites as well as being only approximately 20 minutes away from Rethymno which also had plenty of pubs and clubs to spend the evenings. I would highly recommend this property to anyone considering visiting Crete.
