"Check in staff was very friendly and helpful. Bed was comfortable. Breakfast was mostly good. Wasn’t crazy about the potato cakes but biscuits and gravy was good. Had fresh fruit as an option. Bagels and pastry if you wanted that. Eggs were ok. Orange juice was really good. Check out was easy. Would stay there again if going through the area."

"The inside what extremely clean and well maintained. Pool needed some maintenance and maybe some umbrellas for shade. The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating after a small delay with a fridge that didn’t work but they came and swapped it and after that there were no problems. We enjoyed our little stay-cation and will definitely book again. "

"This property is stunning. It is comfortable, beautifully decorated, and in a lovely location. We had a SNAFU checking in but once that was sorted, our week was fabulous. There are parks, shops, and restaurants nearby adding to the convenience of the location. One bit of information one may need to know in order to plan for your stay is that the bedroom is upstairs while the bathroom is downstairs. This did not present an issue for us, but for someone else, it may. "

"First, Vicki was a great host!This is a beautiful cottage in a very nice, quiet neighborhood. Very clean and bright. The pictures accurately reflect the amenities. The bed was comfortable. The bedroom is a little tight but not a big deal. The bathroom is HUGE with a great shower for 2. The living room was cozy with a desk area that allowed my wife to get her work done all week without any problems. Wifi service was strong and reliable. The icing on the cake was the neighborhood. Great for walking. All the residents were friendly. And the property was close to the major shopping and dining areas of the city. Would definitely stay there again and highly recommend to others. Perfect for singles and couples. "

"Long weekend in Columbia for USC graduation. About a 30 min drive to Columbia but house was spacious and comfy - worth the drive. "

"Close to my son’s home. Close to freeway. Perfect number of bedrooms for our group. Very clean. We did need to purchase plastic cups and more silverware for our breakfast. Nice to have a washer and dryer. "

"Positives- wonderful neighborhood, spacious, host was attentive, clean, perfect location for graduations from both University of South Carolina and Fort Jackson and for sporting events at the University.Negatives-pictures of main floor are not how the house looks now. Issues we had with the house-not all tv's worked, plumbing issues (leak thru ceiling in the living room from upstairs bathroom and had to turn off the water to one of the toilets as it continued to run), grills did not work, could not sit on front porch due to swarming termites, backyard fence is falling down, previous renters showed up at the property looking for packages they had sent there.We ending up leaving early as we were uncomfortable with the previous renters showing up and the fact that every time we came back to the house there was a new issue that popped up.While the host was very apologetic and responded quickly to our issues, this first experience with VRBO has turned me off from using in the future. I spent a good amount of money to come down to enjoy my son's college graduation and I spent way too much time addressing issues and not being comfortable or being able to relax upon returning to the house. I am thankful that the reservation that I made in December of 2024 for May of 2025 was not cancelled and that my whole family could be together.This property could be perfect for a large group if all the issues we encountered can be rectified and cleaned up."

"The area was amazing and inside the home was lovely, there were a couple parts such as the shower which could have used a bit more cleaning and some areas for dusting but other than that it was very nice."

"The apartment was very clean. Everything was new. The bed is very comfortable. Very close to many dining options. The only things to be aware of is a steep driveway and stairs up to the apartment. "
