Very convenient to join Aggressor trips. Staff is very friendly and easy to work with. Many are the same from last few years. Hotel is going through an exterior renovation, so a little noisy at times. Should be a nice upgrade once finished with a new pool and patio area. Man wurde mit dem Bus zu einem Strand gebracht + Überfahrt mit dem Boot. Dieser war dann aber sehr schön - das sollte aber auch so dargestellt werden. Klimaanlage war sehr laut auf dem Zimmer, teilweise waren Lampen kaputt, Föhn funktionierte auch nicht. Zimmer wurde einen Tag nicht gemacht. Angebote für Ausflüge zahlreich vorhanden. Haben uns die Mangroven-Sümpfe ausgesucht. Sehr freundlicher Führer. Frühstück ok, aber kleine Portion. Frischer Wassermelonensaft war klasse. Ingesamt ist das Hotel zu weit entfernt vom lebendigen Teil der Insel. Taxi wird dann Pflicht. Unfortunately, the experience was the complete opposite. After a long day of travel with three young kids, we arrived to a room that smelled musty, was uncomfortably hot (AC was too small to cool it), and looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in months. The bedding seemed unwashed, the bathroom was moldy, the towels were ripped, and the floor was dirty. The front door had visible damage, like it had been previously kicked in and poorly repaired. We carried all our luggage up to the second floor ourselves — no staff offered help. The area felt unsafe, with people watching from across the street. The second room they offered us looked just as bad. We immediately packed up and left. While we’re still working with Expedia for a refund (the hotel is being difficult), I want to be clear: I would never put my family’s safety and comfort at risk over $600\. Yes, I’m upset about the money, but peace of mind on vacation is priceless. I hope this review helps other families avoid the same mistake. They are located nearby a large supermarket. The place is in an area that you need a car to stay here. There is nothing nearby. You cannot walk to restaurants or to a beach. They have a small pool with a nice view to the ocean. The best part of the hotel was the dive shop. The dive master is excellent (Bruce), he learned to dive in the Honduran Navy. Also, he help me make small repairs to my scuba equipment. These are things they can improve. The general internet connection was not good, we complained and they ended up helping us. You should NOT need a code for each device that connects to the internet (each phone and each laptop) , that is ridiculous. We complained about it and they listened and helped. The breakfast was ok. And, we had to ask for bread, jelly, and butter, otherwise, they would not bring it to us. At first, I did not know they had bread or juice, I had to ask to find out. Their breakfast buffet table was missing several things, if you did not ask, you did not get. Same with service for the room, we asked for it to be cleaned after two days without service. The following day it was cleaned and they brought us fresh towels. The faucet handle on the shower was broken, the drain cover in the sink was broken.
