“I loved it!! Nice and quiet.”

“Thank you for a great stay in your beautiful home! Everything was perfect! …We rented another house of Daniels at the same time, for more family members, also in Wingina. These 2 houses were located less than 10 minutes from each other, and both houses were about 1/2 hour from the seminary in Dillwyn, which was our intended destination each day. Host and house were terrific!!!”

“The cabin was the perfect spot for our family. John is an excellent host who responds quickly. The cabin was spotless, kitchen had everything we needed to prepare meals and the location is so beautiful. The kayaks were a huge bonus. Even though the river was low, we were able to take them out for and explore. Highly recommend!”

“Cabin was super cozy and relaxing. Communication was very clear and all questions were answered quickly. Loved all of the outdoor seating options and cooking in the well stocked kitchen. My dog enjoyed running all over the property, exploring the paths and chasing birds.”

“We had a calm and relaxing mountain get a way. The property was charming and perfect for us, clean and organized. The location was great. We loved to go for walks nearby and visit the gnomes and fairies in the trees. We would love to make it an annual trip and would definitely stay here again.”

“Rooms a clean thermostats are easy to use and everything is easily accessible”

We were there for the 4th of July, and it was very quiet. We could barely hear the fireworks, which was a big bonus for our normally nervous pup. The kitchen is well stocked with pans/utensils - you just have to……

“This is truly a cabin in the woods. Very private and remote but comfortable and beautiful. Highly recommend if that is what you're looking for. It has all of the needed, and modern, amenities, however, it is not easy to pop-out and grab dinner or something, so bring everything with you and enjoy the cabin in the forest with a wonderful view of the river. We would love to stay again!”

“Nice place overall, we enjoyed our stay. It was right down the road from our family. It was super convenient and just what we needed for the weekend.”
