“This was such a welcome change from the hotels we’d been in nights before. Mary was an absolutely wonderful hostess. We picked up wine, cheese and bread before arriving and sat in the courtyard of the barn. Piper, the family cat, stayed close and enjoyed the ear scratches. We sat in the loft of the barn in the evening and enjoyed the cosy comfort and the wifi. We walked the trail around the property. A little forest bath before bed. “Overall, we had a very good stay.
The location is very convenient, especially for getting around, while the rooms were pleasantly quiet, which made for a relaxing stay.
The breakfast booking was also a nice surprise in terms of value, although it could perhaps have been communicated a little more clearly that the full à la carte breakfast menu was included, as this was not entirely obvious to us at first.
