This is the ONLY hotel to go to on the Island given the devastation from the last hurricane, and it's all you need really. It's a 2 minute walk from the docks. It's 5 stars for sure. Absolutely beautiful and the service is amazing. Best part is you are right in town and they know all the locals. They guide you for food and who to do a tour with and any other need. If you just want to stay in, the pool and views are breathtaking. The restaurant, and bar pool are all great. I was busy touring, but could have easily spent a day just inside the resort lounging while watching the cruise ships and magnificent landscape.

Omg the operations manager Holander, security guard Bedminister and another cleaning crew Clint have been ever so hospitable to me. Miss Holander is a beautiful soul…she heard my reason for coming to Dominica and she really catered to making feel Very much at home. I will be forever booking at Fort young!!!

Lovely sea front hotel in the town center,convenient. Helpful and very friendly staff. Excellent rooms. A couple drawbacks: ordering from room service in the evenings took quite long to get the food to us. The staff seemed overworked.Also, we were very surprised the hotel did not offer decaffeinated coffee or tea, and I have a caffeine insensitivity so I could not have anything warm to drink. Other than that, no complaints! 👍
