“There's stains on bed sheets. And the motel is in the main raod, it is very noisy.”

“Great stay. Recommended.”

“Stunning stay with family for a winter getaway. This property provided us with the most peaceful, idyllic location with everything that we needed. We found the beds very comfortable, and the shower was excellent (although we did run out of hot water after two 15min showers). We loved the use of the kayaks, too (yes, it was cold!) Overall, would highly recommend this place for a true Kiwiana experience.”

“very clean and tidy…perfect!!”

“Great view from the lounge window featuring a fantastic kinetic sculpture. Gracious, friendly host met us when we pulled up and made us feel very welcome. Everything we needed was available. Stayed just one night, but would definitely return.”

“The staff are Fantastic. The rooms are lovely, clean and comfortable. Close to a variety of Dining options.”

“Staff were lovely and helpful, rooms clean and a good size for a family. Short walk to a number of eateries. Laundry available. If you're lucky you'll meet the very smoochy motel cat.”

“It is constantly feeling delighted to stay at Rutherford Nelson Hotel. People at the hotel are helpful and friendly. They are amazing people. ”

“I enjoyed my time at Room for Two very much. The host was gracious and the space had everything I needed. I was visiting my mother in the Stillwater Village which was a short walk away along the stream, so it was very convenient for me. ”

“We had a lovely 3 night stay. The accommodation was excellent and the place was immaculate and had everything - and more! Communication was great. I will highly recommend this place to anyone and will definitely return in the future.”
