"We have booked several holidays through VRBO . This was the best. Our hosts Jim & Jo were excellent and provided clear directions to the propery. We spent a wonderful restful week at their lovely cottage. Ideal location for exploring the many Bastide villages in the area. Cottage has every facility necessary for an enjoyable stay including lovely heated pool. The cottage has been thoughtfully restored by the owners. "We have spend an amazing week in this holiday home. The house was perfect for our 3 families with young children. The pool was perfect for the children: with steps and a safety fence. The owners live right next door but they are very nice and we didn’t see them at all, unless we needed help with something. We highly recommend this holiday home!"

"The property is very well equipped and in a beautiful location, really quiet and peaceful with lots of amazing wildlife to spot.Lovely pool area and gardens, hosts Nadine and Jean Luc were excellent, with great communication and they even presented me with a cake and candle, as we arrived at the property on my birthday!Overall, a fantastic holiday that has created a lifetime of memories, thank you."

"Beautiful property with so much character! We loved preparing meals and sitting outside for dinner in the evening sun. Very peaceful yet still close to the town. Loved being in the countryside with lots of wildlife and watching the farmers work from a distance. Everything was very new and good quality. Pool was excellent. Would definitely recommend! "

"Our second time staying at Maison Des Roses. That we came back indicates we like the area and property. Second time was even better than the first. The house felt even more homely - and we had a perfect stay enjoying the garden and pool, with occasional trips out. Everything you need is on hand, it is thoughtfully hosted and well managed on behalf of the owners. Recommended without hesitation. and"

"B&B in a very quiet rural location with a lovely friendly host. Our room was spacious, light and airy with good wifi Very comfortable bed with quality bedding and towels. A traditional breakfast with lots of home made preserves and fresh apple juice. No resaurants nearby, so we brought prvisions for our evening meal. We loved the three donkeys in the field opposite, the great views and the stunning sunset."

"We had an amazing stay at this 7-bedroom Manoir! It has a real French château feel to it, with stunning architecture and unbelievable views.There's so much space to hang out, eat, and enjoy yourself that it's sometimes hard to choose where to go! It's such a quiet, relaxing, and beautiful place to be. The pool, bar, and pizza oven area are just wonderful and made our stay even better.We'd definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a memorable and spacious getaway.5 stars!!!"

"Great location just off the motorway, very efficient check in and although the meal we had was expensive for what appeared to be a microwave dish, we were happy as a family to have it available. The room was large, two separate bedrooms and a huge bathroom. Warm, clean and comfortable."

"We have just returned from a brilliant couple of weeks at La Roche. The house and setting is lovely and so peaceful. We loved sitting in the garden or by the pool and listening to the birds. The house itself sleeps 8 and upstairs is a/c which was a relief from the 34 degree heat. Pool was clean and large enough for all the kids to play. Nearby to Bergerac with lots of easily reached day trips. Would definitely return. "
