"I chose this hotel for its location next to a ski resort and I liked the look of the tatami rooms. This hotel is very cheap and you get what you pay for. The room was small and old, the futon mattresses you use to make your bed were thin and I woke up achy every day. The staff were helpful and friendly with limited English. We tried a meal at the hotel and were asked to pay in advance and then given no menu - we just got what was given (which wasn’t bad actually). Theu have their own rental for...

A warm lounge and wine and conversation to come back to at the end of an unbelievable ski day. Love the underfloor heating! The shuttle is quick, easy and flexible. "The young owners of this property are very sweet, kind and really try to be helpful. They seemed that had not quite got the hang of being proprietors, but they are very likable. Compared to other places we stayed cluttered with not quite the same and amenities. The owner was very helpful when we got stuck in snow bank during a snowstorm via messages.
