“We had a wonderful stay at Tanigawa Valley Lodge & Coffee Roastery. The host, Craig, is truly exceptional — friendly, hardworking, and constantly going out of his way to make sure guests feel comfortable and taken care of. The location feels remote in the best possible way, offering a peaceful and authentic Japanese experience surrounded by mountains and nature. And the coffee… wow. “The young owners of this property are very sweet, kind and really try to be helpful. They seemed that had not quite got the hang of being proprietors, but they are very likable.
Compared to other places we stayed cluttered with not quite the same and amenities.
The owner was very helpful when we got stuck in snow bank during a snowstorm via messages. If you get a chance, listen to Echo play the piano ”

“We had a wonderful time at Daiju Myoko! Very clean and updating rooms. The shared areas were very clean. Breakfast in the morning was very good. The staff was extremely helpful and very nice. We plan to stay again on our next visit!”
