“Small room, old hotel, staff not welcoming, toilet not functioning properly, location is convenient and free car park most helpful though. ”

“Room was lovely and big, great size bed which was very comfortable. Nicely decorated however a lot of the decor was a bit tired and could do with a touch up. The unit in the bathroom was peeling in places and you could see where the light fitting has been moved in the ceiling, could just do with a little decorating. Staff were lovely, breakfast was good, although eggs ordered took a long time to come, and the dining room wasn't particularly busy. ”

“Although only booked for one night, but I had a very good experience.The staff are very helpful, the location is convenience that is close to town and just next to Cathedral. I love the fact that the hotel is a historical building and preserved so well from the inside and outside. Highly recommend to stay there while you visit Stonehenge, Old Sarum & Saisbury Cathedral.”

“Exactly what I expected: an old property that has clearly been loved and with owners that seem to care, has the basics and they do their best. It was clean and no frills but truly close to Stonehenge which made getting there for an early start a lot easier. No noise issues from the restaurant/pub below for us.”

“Blood stained on the bed sheets! When I requested to change the bed sheets, the staff told me that its their policy to change every 3 days!!”

“The staircase to our room is winding, and I need to go up and down before arriving at my room. The wall is thin and is not very sound proof, so I can hear what next door's saying and TV noise. It could be disturbing to someone during time for bed. There could be some seepage at the bath tub as there was a pool of water on the toilet floor after my shower, even though there was a glass door to stop water from splashing over to the floor. The car park is conveniently placed. The English breakfast……

“A friend and I stayed in this lovely B&B in Salisbury. We were warmly welcomed by the charming lady of the house and quickly settled. Our room and beds were very comfy and breakfast most satisfying, even for my vegan friend.”
