Great opportunity to stay in a beautiful 800 year old property. V quirky due to its' age. Very comfy bed and great location for Cathedral, City Hall, city centre etc. Nice staff. Lovely breakfast and great negroni! Felt a little pressured re: timings / choices for breakfast but not really an issue for us and understand there is also a working restaurant in operation as well. The choice of continental breakfast, cooked breakfast and eggs benedict was really appreciated. The coffee was great too. All in all lovely stay. Would thoroughly recommend. Thank you.
This is such a charming inn that has been around for over 800 years, which means you are in an old building with no lift and small, winding hallways. These features add to the charm. Our room was spacious and comfortable. My son slept on a sleeper sofa that had the best mattress I've ever seen on a sofa bed and the towels were the softest I've ever had. There's a nice continental breakfast and the cooked to order breakfast was delicious! We also had dinner at the restaurant one night and it too was super yummy. The location was perfect for exploring Salisbury. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone looking for a place in Salisbury.
Unique historic property. A restaurant with rooms … definitely not your usual chain hotel room. In a building hundreds of years old the floors and stairs are very wonky … so mind your step! We loved the character of the buildings and our room (no. 6 … not all rooms have wood panelling this dark!) … it was spacious and had everything we needed.
And the food in the restaurant was great … both for evening meal and breakfast.

Super cosy and nice, excellent beds and bath room. Good restaurant with nice food and wine menu. Breakfast above average for B&B. Pleasant and helpful employees.
I had a lovely room and the staff were excellent. Only downside is that you have to park in a public car park and so that made it difficult getting luggage to the hotel
This old place has character, super comfortable beds, and a great breakfast. Would definitely stay here again. Staff was also super friendly and helpful.
Stayed here for one night. Room was immaculate with large slipper bath & walk in shower. Plenty of tea & coffee provided & 2 bottles of water. Yhe ki g size bed was really comfortable. The full English breakfast was freshly cooked hot & very tasty. All the staff were very efficient & friendly. Would thoroughly recommend staying here.
Convenient location. Parking was round the corner and the entrance to the cathedral was across the street. Five minute walk to the shops etc. The staff was extremely helpful. Excellent breakfast. In house restaurant. Historic and quaint property which is its big charm but also means no elevators or air conditioning. All other modern amenities are present. Bathrooms are fully modern. Rooms are very clean.
The staff are friendly and we secured the room we wanted. The restaurant is excellent, it serves great steak!!
The hotel is very old, so things do creak a bit. Salisbury shopping isn’t the best with a few empty units.
