This beautiful hotel exceeded our expectations! Our suite was huge, with a private courtyard, full kitchen and sitting areas and large bedroom and bathroom. The bed was so comfortable and since our room was facing the courtyard, it was so quiet and we could listen to the sound of the courtyard fountain. The rooftop deck has a beautiful view overlooking the church and city. All the staff went out of their way to be helpful and friendly. The hotel is in the perfect location, close to so many restaurants, bars, and walkable to all areas in Old San Juan. We loved it and will return on our next visit!

Wonderful hotel in a great location. Room was cool and very spacious. But....being the weekend the noise from the street was especially loud well into the night. Not the hotels fault but being in such a great location does come with some considerations!

My experience at Decanter was great. The property is smack in the middle of everything & the furthest I walked to a place I wanted to go to was around 8-10 min. The staff was very friendly & helpful. The only thing about my room was the lighting in the bathroom.. it was a little dim & for my girlies, we all know how much lighting matters for makeup & selfies but that is a personal preference of course. The AC worked GREAT.. it was nice coming back to a cold room after walks in the sun. I personally couldnt figure out how to change the temperature but it wasnt a big deal, i personally rather be cold than hot especially in PR.. just bring a warmer PJ. Also, as a FYI, the hotel doors are locked after i believe maybe 1:30am or so for security purposes but no worries because there was always someone there, or nearby, to open up, just knock.. overall my stay was great & would stay again !
