A beautiful grand hotel. Old school in style and design yet clean and well maintained. Bathrooms even come with a shaving kit and toothpaste but no coffee in the room which was a small drawback for us. Situated on Madrid’s Gran Via, you have the best and worst of the location… it’s walking distance to everying including the palace, Plaza Mayor and the Prado. However, it’s also incredibly busy; sidewalks and streets are packed from dawn well into the evening and we heard the sounds of police/ambulance sirens almost every night. The cherry on top (literally on top) is the rooftop bar which made for a perfect spot for a drink after a day touring the sights.

Very helpful and kind staff. Location is convenient. Room with private bathroom had plenty of space and was brightly lit and clean. Expectations are clearly communicated. Would stay here again!

Great location, room was spacious with unique decor and staff was very helpful and friendly.

Location is great near Puerta del Sol. Also there is a metro station a few steps away. I did not used the breakfast. The room was very clean and in good conditions. Very quiet surroundings even though there is a lot of construction work going on near by.
