Yposkafo Suites - Studio - Firostefani Thira

The place is suitable for couples and families (with a child). Located in the most magnificent spot of the island with an astonishing view like you have never seen before and just about a 7 minute walk to the center of Fira, Studio Yposkafo ideally combines tradition and comfort and offers a breathtaking view overlooking the famous volcano of Santorini and the Aegean Sea. The studio is an ideal sample of the architectural beauty of Cyclades. It also has a jacuzzi and a large balcony with view.
Our House's address is Markou Nomikou street, Caldera, Firostefani.

To get to our Studio you need to reach AGIOS GERASIMOS SQUARE in FIROSTEFANI, please mark it and indicate it in the driver that will take you.
(by car, 10 minutes from airport, 15-20 minutes from port).

(Within a very short distance from there, there is a free-of-charge public parking area, as well as a bus stop)
After arriving there, please walk towards the Caldera (thus towards the sea view) and as soon as you reach the front, turn LEFT on the famous street of cobblestone, having the sea view and the volcano on your right. After about 250-280 meters in total (a 4-minute walk), and after having walked by Mama Thira restaurant, Vallas apartments, the famous Catholic church "Three Bells of Fira" and Gaby apartments (in that order), you will see our property, "Yposkafo".
Our house is white and grey in color (as you see it in our pictures) and it also has a sign that says "Yposkafo" outside.
The entrance to our Studio is through the main entrance of "Yposkafo" (a big grey wooden door), climb 5-6 steps to reach the courtyard and and the door of the Studio is on the left, as the signs show.

Beautiful view

We enjoyed staying at this property. The view is amazing and the sunsets are beautiful. The A/C works fabulously. They also provide two large bottles of water every day and it was appreciated.

Beautiful studio! We had a wonderful stay. The property manager was very helpful and always available. They did daily housekeeping which was an unexpected bonus. The view is to die for and you can watch the sun set from it rather than going to Oia. The location is perfect, just outside of, about 5-8 minute walk, the main town and shopping area. Keep in mind it is on the caldera and there are stairs and slopes to get to the property, but a short walk from a central square where transportation can drop you off. I would definitely stay here again!

Far exceeds expectations

The pictures of this property are amazing and they still don't do it justice. Its a lovely little studio with everything you could possibly need. The view from the balcony at sunset is spectacular and private. And Valentina was a doll. Location is perfect. Still close to everything you need in Fira without the streets being too crowded. We wish we stayed here longer.

Santorini apartment

We stayed in this cozy apartment for 4 days while on Santorini. The spot was clean, check-in was seamless and Valentina provided support throughout our stay - answering questions, making sure we had water, offering advice on things to do etc. The directions to find the place were very descriptive and we had no trouble. The location is outstanding - the views are breathtaking from the patio and even though we were on the main path, it was quiet especially at night. Shopping and restaurants are all within walking distance. Would highly recommend this apartment!

Perfect in every way

Our vacation in Santorini was fantastic! This location is exactly as described and was ideal for everything we wanted to do while on the island. Parking for the rental car was close by, and there are lots of tavernas, restaurants, and shops within a few minutes walk. Sunsets on the patio were spectacular - absolutely no need for a dinner reservation at a restaurant with a view; the best view is just outside your door. I have already recommended this place to family and friends. And if our travels bring us back to Santorini, we hope to stay here again.

Communication was fantastic ; the directions from airport to square & to the suite was spot on. Central to so much to see , great eateries , and shops . The suite looks as great in person as in the photos . Valentina was so sweet & helpful . Definitely recommend !! Thank you !!

Owners answered questions quickly. No pick up at airport from rental. On your own for that Views are beautiful of Caldera and sunsets. convenient location to bus stop, good restaurants and market. Accommodation has main walkway in front . Enjoyed our stay. Coffee, water and daily towels supplied. A non smoking place..

Stunning View!

Studio was exactly as pictured. Very clean and well appointed. The balcony offers the most stunning views of the caldera and sunset. No need to go to Oia with a zillion other people for sunset. The balcony is the best place to be! The housekeeper came 3 times in a week to tidy up, provide water and toiletries etc. She also left fresh towels and water on the balcony several times. The location is perfect. It’s a very short walk to many restaurants and shopping, but far enough away from the huge crowds from cruise ships. It’s a perfect place to relax and enjoy the beauty of the area. Highly recommend!

Beautiful

Absolutely perfect view and the apartment was very comfortable. We stayed there for the view and we're not disappointed. Excursions were easy to get to from the main square. It would have been great to have an umbrella or shade awning to enable us to be out in the sunny afternoon.

Visiting Santorini

Simply beautiful! The studio is in an excellent location with the most stunning views. Easy to walk to close by restaurants - recommend Galini Cafe and Aktaion. Enjoyed wine on the private balcony each evening. Vivian was so pleasant. The studio was well kept. Very comfortable bed. Would definitely recommend the studio and would personally stay there again.

Excellent Location

The accommodation is exactly as it appears on the website but the photos can't do justice to the view from the terrace which is fantastic. It is a wonderful place to sit with a glass of wine or a cup of tea. The property is well located for restaurants and shops. The bed is very comfortable. The Housekeeper, Voula, is friendly and helpful. Directions and information from the owner was all informative.
