FULL DESCRIPTION

This home has a private in-ground pool with outdoor seating which is the perfect spot to relax with a cool drink after a day at the beach. There is an outdoor grill perfect for a BBQ by the pool on days you are not at the beach. Located on West Manatee Ave, you are minutes to the beaches of Anna Maria Island and Bradenton Beaches.

The living room is spacious and newly decorated with leather seating that is perfect for watching shows or news on the large screen TV. The master bedroom has a king-size bed with a walk-in closet to unpack. The second bedroom has two twin beds, and a large walk-in closet, and the third bedroom has a queen bed with a dresser and a large closet. The kitchen is fully stocked with dishes, stemware, and basic appliances to enjoy meals made at home. Eat in the dining room in the home or on the large picnic table outside on the lanai.

* PLEASE NOTE- if you plan to bring your dog. Although this is a prime location so close to the beaches, it isn't a fenced in yard and there is a fairly busy street nearby. Please be aware of that when booking and plan to keep your dog leashed or with you at all times. We want everyone to enjoy a safe vacation. *

*PLEASE NOTE- For extended stays of 60 days or more we require a mid-stay clean be done by our cleaners. A member of our team will reach out upon your booking to coordinate the fee and scheduling.

The Beachway Plaza is just a 3-minute drive (0.7 miles away) and offers a Publix grocery store and restaurants. The Sarasota/Bradenton airport is a 20-minute drive (10.5 miles) south and downtown Sarasota and St Armands Circle are about 30-minute drive south which is a great place for watching a sunset from a rooftop bar with causal and upscale dining and shopping. You don't need to go that far for dining options as Longboat Key, Bradenton Beach and Anna Maria Island all have great places to eat and things to do by the beach. Don't forget a trip to downtown Bradenton which is on the Bradenton river and also has bars, restaurants, and Village of the Arts. The Village of the Arts is an eclectic live-work community made up of colorful historic cottages that house everything from award-winning restaurants to specialty shops, studios, healing arts, bakeries, and Bradenton’s best art galleries.

The best part of being in West Bradenton is that you are minutes to the white sand beaches of Anna Maria Island. There are also several wildlife preserves nearby, great for hiking and biking. If you would rather fish for the afternoon, there are also great spots at piers around the area.

Great property near Anna Maria Island
stay for 6 days over Easter and had an amazing time! The property was ideally located for us, near the beaches, museums and all the shops you could need as well as some lovely restaurants. The house was comfortable & cosy and we felt very at home in it! It was lovely & clean, the pool is fantastic- there were li-lo's balls etc as well as beach toys & chairs provided. There were lots of lovely little extras to get us started- very thoughtful. Thank you for a fabulous stay

An older basic house but everything needed is there. It’s nothing fancy, and on a busy road, but for the price and location it’s good! We came during the school March break , so the road to Ami beach took 1.5 hours instead of 15 min.

Great stay
We had a great time on our vacation. We enjoyed the pool everyday. The location was perfect, close to the island and shopping. The kitchen had everything we needed. The split floor plan was great for two couples traveling together as it provided more privacy. The only issue we really had was the water pressure was really low and the air conditioner was pretty loud. However, it was nothing we couldn't handle. Thanks for a providing a great place for the week!

Clean home. Nice location to get around. Our 1st night we dined @ “The Porch”. It was really good & best cheesecake I’ve ever had. Wished there was a privacy fence so you wouldn’t see traffic while swimming in pool. Located on busy road.

Great location to wonderfully beautiful beaches
We loved the location and proximity to beaches and stores and restaurants (and found some great ones). The home was clean and comfortable and was perfect for company to have their own space with bedrooms divided between master on one side with full bath and guest rooms on the other side with full bath. Each side had it's own TV.

Although dated, the house was functional and well equipped. Furniture has been updated. Although on a busy road ( yes you will have traffic noise) attractions, amenities and services are easily accessible from the home. 5 minutes drive to lovely Anna Maria Island and all the great beaches. Can walk to liquor store, groceries and convenience stores. The pool is amazing. We paid to have it heated. Well worth it for January and February time frame. We used it everyday. I would have liked to have had a better outdoor dining set ( currently a picnic table) and some lounge chairs to be able to soak up the sun.

Perfect to Relax and Hang out by the pool
Stayed with some friends for a few days and had a great time. The house and pool were both very clean and in good shape. The house is located on a divided highway, but we didn’t notice the extra noise at all during our stay. The pool in the backyard is surrounded by fences and trees, so you have a little privacy from the neighbors. Lots of activities and stores in the surround area, and the beach is very close by. Would recommend for a group of friends or a family looking to explore the Bradenton area.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Lazy Manatee Pool Home! The property was very clean and comfortable. The split layout of the bedrooms allowed for privacy for guests. The pool and lanai, with a covered area and picnic table, was especially nice for visiting with family, meals and snacks. The property manager was contacted with a couple concerns/needs and responded immediately, meeting our needs in a very timely fashion. We look forward to return visits to this property.

We chose this place cause it had the amount of sleeping space we needed. The pool was nice but not heated so for this time of year it was chilly and lots of cobwebs in the enclosed area. We chose to be by the beach which was about 10 minutes away. We were conveniently by the Publix, workout places and other food choices, as well as areas to walk and run. The area is pretty and the tree in the front yard is really neat. We all enjoy coffee and wine of which the brewing options were a challenge and the wine opener being broken. We sufficed and had the accomodations we needed. Laundry, parking, beds, tv, wifi and all the basics, but if you need cooking stuff or any kitchen items the Publix will be visited quite often. Water takes a bit to heat up for showers, house all together is a little dated but Troy is nice and it’s all straight forward.
