Checked in on a Thursday and checked out two hours later after finding another hotel to stay in. When I entered the lobby there was a smell of mildew, and the main lobby was potpourri of different furniture that seemed to be randomly put there. When the front desk person checked me in he said there would not be housekeeping services, but if we wanted them to call in the morning and get on the list, or let them know if we needed towels. The room wasn’t what the pictures on Expedia portrayed, it was grimy and musty smelling, there was some poor patchwork on one of the bathroom walls as well. When I went back and told the front desk person I wasn’t happy and that we were checking out, he didn’t ask why, or if there was anything he could do, he simply asked for my name and number and said the manager would have to call me and issue the refund tomorrow, which she promptly did with no questions asked. I’m only writing this review so that someone else’s trip isn’t interrupted trying to find a nicer hotel for the same price.

The location is amazing. But the property is run down. Our room had a heavy odor-smelled strongly like paint. But the paint was chipping. The only reason I didn’t ask for another room is because we were only staying one night.

The only complaint I would have is that our room was facing a parking garage. So lights flashing which was alleviated by the curtains. But two nights a couple of large vehicles and about 10 twenty somethings played loud music and parties at late hours. It was like it was right outside our window because it was the level straight across.

Wonderful experience and serviceat this beautiful boutique hotel. My only negative note is that room 604 needs some work. The bathroom handle is on incorrectly, the far right window has a leak and the wood is rotting, the Moen shower handle needs a new cartridge, and the outlets behind the coffee maker need replacement, as plugs fall out

This was the perfect stay for those looking to experience historic Savannah. The hotel is clean, quaint and an amazing location. The staff is friendly. I hope you get to meet Carl! He was the highlight of our stay.

Great location in downtown Savannah. Location is in walking distance of many attractions and places to eat. Valet parking available, but Bryan Street garage provides convenient parking as well.

This property is not even close to one in Charleston. Our room was tiny and smelled bad. The bathroom walls were marked scratched and in some places bubbling from the Sheetrock. We were very disappointed.
