“This is a good place to experience old Savannah and the neighborhood is safe and charming. Easy walk to cafe’s, parks and shopping. The stairs are a little steep up to the bedrooms so maybe not good for anyone feeling unsure of their balance etc but the bathroom is bright, water pressure and water quality is lovely and you can darken the bedroom to sleep in. Overall it was a nice getaway and would return.”

Not within reasonable walking distance to the water, and Thunderbolt has very few, if any, shops and restaurants. “Beautiful home with awesome hosts! The hot tub was great, the beds were comfortable, as was the entire home. A short drive to downtown Savannah and we enjoyed our stay very much. We could have used more towels, (at least two per person) but it was a minor inconvenience.”

“I enjoyed celebrating a birthday. The location was a little far from the center of historic Savannah but easily accessible by Uber when the weather was not cooperative for walking. The authenticity of the location, with large trees, a wide, clean street, and amenities, was perfect for a getaway with friends.”

“Great location in a very walkable neighborhood. Close to local coffee shops & a large Kroger grocery store. There were multiple cockroaches around the house (entryway & in each bedroom). Albeit they were dead, it was still clear that the floors had not been swept. Overall, would recommend this to large groups/families. All appliances were in working condition & aside from the cockroaches (which it is an older house so somewhat expected) everything was clean.”

“My cousins and I had a wonderful stay at the Parsonage at Forsyth!! Its a beautiful house, very comfortable, plenty of space and we loved sitting on the front porch. We also took advantage of the pool on Tybee Island for one day. It was also very nice, plenty of chairs and places to sit, very relaxing. I would definitely recommend staying here and hope to visit in the future :).”

“property was nice beds were comfortable, quick 2 night stay for a funeral will come back like the neighborhood. now for the downs not horrible but just suggestions not enough towels no face clothes only 2 hand towels for 6 people and 5 towels, after reading other reviews we bought our own towels and face clothes, also tiki torches or something to try to keep mosquitos from attacking to enjoy the nice courtyard otherwise i would return oh yes do not lock any doors maybe 1 skeleton key near……

“We stayed a night for a girls trip. More than enough beds to fit us five girls. The neighborhood was quiet and historical. Very cute! Some of the pictures are deceiving such as the upstairs and deck set up. But all in all it worked for the night and we were happy.”
