“I loved that the ocean was right there. Large windows allowed me to clearly see the ocean and the binoculars the owners lent me I was able to see porpoises and harber seals, there were so many beautiful humming birds and many other kinds of birds including many eagles every day right in front of our studio window. We brought our own kayaks and really enjoyed kayaking right there, we even went across to the island on the other side an easy 45 minute paddle. The studio was fantastic and very……

“We enjoyed our stay. The property was exactly as described and the host friendly and informative. We hit good weather too, which helped. For outdoor enthusiasts there is a nearby beach to launch kayaks for a paddle to the Copeland Islands, and there are many great hikes in the Lund/Powell River area. It's a bit of a drive to PR so we mostly cooked our own meals but also ate at the Boardwalk (OK) and Laughing Oyster (very good). The only suggestion I have for improvement would be a more……

“This is our second stay at this cosy little cabin it is in a great location for hiking and paddling. Kelli is a great host and promptly attends to any issues. The cabin is showing signs of age and could use a bit of maintenance. We hope to come back next year.”

“This cottage is a true gem. My husband and I visited 10 years ago and we have always said we would take our children back, and we just returned from our visit. It was just as amazing as it was 10 years ago, our daughters had a wonderful time and we have made so many more memories. We definitely will be back for a third time.”

We wish we had known to bring our own water. This property is in a state of construction, but has a lot of great potential to be a lovely glamping spot on Savary.”

“We enjoyed a beautiful week's vacation at Margaret's cabin on Savary Island. Communication with Margaret was clear and easy. The cabin was very comfortable and had everything we needed for a great week's vacation. The cabin is centrally located with several beaches within close proximity on foot or bike. We hope to return!”

“The property has a great view and the tents are cozy. Lois and her family made us feel welcome and were great hosts. The amenities were very basic when we were there (outhouse only, no power or running water, shared basic kitchen stuff) though I know the property is changing and upgrading by the week. We felt a bit uncomfortable sharing spaces during Covid without too many precautions but lesson learned. ”

“This was our first trip to Savary Island. We didn’t really know what to expect but Samantha, our host, communicated with us and gave us some really useful info. Place is very big and in a perfect location, 4 min away from an amazing beach. All other spots on the island are a bike ride away. Would definitely go back and would recommend to anyone. If you like beautiful, quiet, safe place and amazing beaches with unbelievably warm water (September 1st) Savary island resort is your place to go to.”
