"The property is exactly as you see it on VRBO. It is spacious and sparklingly clean. The beds are comfy and the kitchen is well equipped. The hosts Floriana and Roberto met us at the property, made excellent recommendations and did everything possible to enhance our stay. A few food items were stocked for our convenience. "A light and clean apartment on the first floor of a small block, half a mile walk from the commercial and tourist centre. Basically furnished and lacking a few items an English visitor might expect such as a kettle and can opener. Salvatore was very helpful with requests although he did not speak any English so requests are best made via e-mail/text so that google can be used for translation! Check in a bit tricky as the first digits of his phone number are the same as the country code making it...

"We found the villa to be clean and comfortable. It's located a short walk to the beach and convenient to Trapani and Erice. We used this as our base to explore western Sicily in late September, early October 2018. Isidoro, the owner, greeted us upon arrival and provided fresh fruit and some basic supplies. The garden was fantastic and the jasmine filled the yard with fragrance. Thank you Isidoro."

"Location: The house is located outside Castellamare and you will need a car to reach the beaches (which are spectacular, especially Riserva dello Zingaro, 15 mins by car) There are stores and cafe 2-3 mins driving and the center is only 5 mins driving. You cannot really walk anywhere from the house because there is no sidewalk and the road is pretty busy. House: the house is very spacious with a wonderful terrace overlooking the ocean, large rooms and big dining room with ocean views. The house...

"Firstly, I am so sorry to read about the fires that are troubling Sicily and Italy at the moment. We really enjoyed our visit to your island and hope to return and explore the East in the future. As to the apartment. The location was great, the Windows opening in all directions was marvellous. My disappointment was in the poor and broken furnishings and the kitchen was not clean. "A very nice house and region. Theobalds issues are the mosquitoes and the missing mosquito nets in the windows. But the hosts helped with mosquito repellent that was plugged to the electrical outlets."
