Nice area, close to pikes market, space needle and waterfront. Not Impressed with what they charge for overnight parking would’ve been nice if they let you know that there’s a parkade just around the corner that’s a third of the price. I guess we should have researched a bit more on parking.

I had requested a room with tub but when we got into room it was shower only. They said that Expedia never shares that info. I told them I had called hotel myself with request. They moved us to another room but the tub had a step up of about 8 inches. Not doable for an older man with Prosthetic leg. Not a good stay!

We enjoyed our stay at the Hotel Max. In reading reviews prior to booking, we knew the rooms weren’t huge. Wasn’t a problem and the rooms were plenty big enough and comfortable for our stay. The staff we met at check-in and throughout our stay were friendly, informative and helpful. We also enjoyed their afternoon happy hour with locally produced beers. The hotel was also conveniently located to many Seattle attractions and the light rail from the airport. If we are ever back in Seattle, we would definitely stay at the Hotel Max. Thank you for an enjoyable experience!

An adorable and unique hotel walking distance to all the major sites while still feeling safe. The staff was friendly and valet parking was easy (and i had access to my car if needed). The AC was a huge plus to have while it was hot outside. Loved the room, the only thing that was not my favorite was how dysfunctional the bathroom was for anyone bigger (taller or plus size). The shower stall was small and you had to fight the shower curtain and the shelf at the sink didn't hold much .

Hotel Max was not the best fit for my group. Friendly staff. Beer in the lobby from 5 to 6 and coffee in the lobby every morning. Fantastic location. close to Pike Place. Plenty of great places to Eat and hang out. The monorail to Seattle center is a short walk away. Overall fun vibe with a really cool lobby, full of cozy places to sit. On the flipside, there is a smell throughout the property. Sort of an incense/patchouly smell. No I did not speak to the front desk about this because it’s just the way the place smells. I recognize that this might not be an issue for those who like that smell, but this is one of the reasons it was not a great fit for us. We paid for The largest room available with two queens. As we were two adults with two young adult children, I wanted the extra space. The bathroom was still indescribably tiny. By far the smallest I’ve seen in any country. A thin glass shelf runs above the sink and toilet with no other surfaces for bathroom items. We do not spend a lot of time in the bathroom but the size still made it inconvenient and uncomfortable. I am guessing that because we got the bigger room, we had a long desk with desk chair. But no other seating. So even with extra space, there was nowhere to sit and visit or eat. For the price, factors like very basic bedding, tiny elevators, and thin, torn carpet are understandable. But the smell, bathroom size, and lack of seating in the larger room made this a spot that my group will not choose again.
