“My daughter and I needed a mom, daughter trip. Lakemont Pines exceeded our expectations. The house is so well kept and quiet. It is surrounded by pine trees. There are two bedrooms each with a door leading out to a deck. We sat out on the deck at night, had a glass of wine and just listened to crickets, owls and other critters. The lake. Oh let me tell you about the lake. I’ve been taking my kids to Arnold/Murphy’s area since they were babies they are all grown up now. I had no idea about this……

“Great place to stay! Close to everything we were interested in, food, music, hiking, lakes etc. Our dog loved it too! ”

“Seven of us stayed here for a couple of days before a backpacking trip. The house (more than a cabin) was roomy and very comfortable for all of us. The location right on the river was amazing, and we even pulled a couple of trout out of the pool right below the house. The house was clean and Jim was very helpful with questions, so the entire stay went without a hitch. Excellent!”

“We were four couple and two kids, here for a week, for a family reunion and wedding. The bedroom in the basement had private bath, walkout doors, perfect for our bride and groom. Two bedrooms on main floor had private baths. Two bedrooms with lots of beds shared a bath upstairs (great for a family with kids). Small A/C units in bedrooms, "swamp cooler" in living room and large fans throughout the house kept things comfortable in July. The backyard/patio is amazing. (See photo.) A short……

“The cabin was perfect. It was clean, convenient and cozy. Their is market 5min away. It had everything we needed. Kids love it.”

“This is a quiet, peaceful place with many visitors…quail, grey squirrels, turkeys, jack rabbits and deer! We enjoyed every minute of our stay in this quaint, clean cabin where everything we could have wanted was provided. I would have given Forrest and Ginger a ten the very first day just for having the cabin cooled off when we arrived in a very hot day. I can’t say enough good things about our stay in this little haven. Our hosts were right on top of all correspondence and notifications. There……
