"The staff in the restaurant were amazing but at reception/check-in, I found two members of staff to be particularly rude. I believe at least, we should’ve been offered a complementary drink for the lack of sleep due to Valentine’s Day celebrations, they ran into the early hours and it was extremely loud, we had a conference to go to. The reception team basically said we booked third-party as if we were lesser clientele. Our comfort was not a priority at this hotel."

"Room 209\. City view. Lovely room, spacious and nice modern design. Good shower and bathroom. Bed fairly comfortable although dipped slightly in middle with 2 medium sized people in it. Pillows were plump. The only thing which let it down was the window catch was broken and the window would not close fully meaning the noise from the main ring road was loud and constant and woke me up several times in the night. I tried to put something inside the catch but it reduced the noise only a little. I suggest the hotel inspects and fixes this. "

"Unfortunately not long before our booking we were told a party would be noisy till midnight, then although you make bookings for families i was told the children could not use the pool. The hotel and grounds were beautiful but the room could have been better. The bath was coming away from the front, the curtains were hanging off its hooks and let the light in the morning and the menu for room service was stained. We did enjoy the breakfast which was delicious."
