“Very good small house, quiet and short distance from National Park.”

“This was a wonderful place to stay. We had check in info sent ahead of time and were able to just drive up to our cabin and go on in. We had an electrical issue with the television and the host fixed it immediately and was extremely helpful. Just know WiFi is very limited, don’t expect to stream tv shows, but they also have a HUGE library of movies available. Would definitely stay here again!”

“This wasn’t what we expected as it was located in a campground with campers, tents, and cottages. There was constant traffic with workers on side by sides which kicked up a lot of dust and made sitting outside difficult. The cottage was run down and the bed was the worst we’ve ever slept in. If we went back to the area, we would stay somewhere else.”

“Hi! Overall, it was a wonderful location and as described. Very cute and homey, the large projection tv is really a nice feature for the evening. There were sufficient cooking items and we didn't really need a microwave, understood with a small kitchen. Heating was perfect, supplies and towels, etc, clean and provided. A few notes for the hosts: Yes, we could have called, but we didn't want to be disturbed, so that's on us. The queen bed was very uncomfortable unsupportive and made of soft……

“The property is exactly as described on the listing. Angela was very thoughtful leaving the porch light and heater on so we had a warm welcome. The setting was perfect for our weekend getaway with organic eggs, freshly picked tomatoes, fresh autumn airs plenty of redwoods and large meadow! It was a very enjoyable and relaxing stay! “We visited for 4 days and stayed a 5th day so we could get another day of skiing in. We were comfortable, the place was heated, warm, cozy and away from everything which is what we wanted. There’s a store in town (Reeds) where you can grab groceries, Redding is a half hour away, Shasta 1.5 hours. Peace, quiet, Serenity, good for the kids to run around. Plenty of firewood for the old school stove. Beds cozy. Office nearby. Hottub wasn’t overchlorinated which was nice. They should make it lighter……

“The Flagstone Retreat is a nice home with a large living room and good- sized bedrooms. The furniture style fit taller people with the high kitchen chairs and bar stools. Two of the beds were on high platforms. There were plenty of pillows and blankets for comfort. We used the barbecue and it did great for the tri-tips, hamburgers and hot dogs. Negatives: The washer made an extremely loud noise for the first part of the cycle. The A/C was not turned on until an hour before check in so the……

“We had a wonderful 6-night stay at Minnie's place! The home was spotless, cozy, and looked exactly like the photos. Check-in was a breeze with the keypad, and Minnie kept us well-informed of the scheduled garbage, lawn, and pest control services. We loved having space to spread out, and the ability to park in the garage was a huge bonus! The desk was perfect for setting up my laptop to stay in the loop with work, and the kitchen was well-equipped, making it easy to cook our own meals and warm up……
