“Train was delayed six hours. Arrived at midnight. Friendly welcome. Couldn't be more helpful. Clean and comfortable room. Food available though it's a bit of a mystery where and when. Just ask. Rooftop terrace has a nice view of the Fort and the railway station. Train noise will be an issue for some. It's a 24 hour operation.”

“One of the best stays that I’ve ever had. The property is beautifully designed - like a hidden cache of green, fertile ground in a desert. The staff demonstrated high attentiveness without the overwrought, hammy nonsense that you receive throughout India. Instead, the staff seemed kind and dignified - an attitude commensurate with the beauty of the facility. The hotel advised us, at checkin, that we should not tip anyone until checkout - at which time, the hotel would share our tip across……

“I had a wonderful stay at this hotel in Jodhpur. It is a fully vegetarian hotel (without eggs), and although we normally eat meat, we absolutely loved the food. Everything was delicious and far exceeded our expectations. We also do not eat any spicy food, and the hotel adapted perfectly to our particular needs, which made our experience even more enjoyable. The location is excellent, the value for money is one of the best you’ll find in the area, and the service from every member of the staff……

The food in the restaurant was excellent and the area was walkable to the clock tower, markets and Fort, if you don't mind a little uphill. I actually walked halfway to the Fort every morning to see the sunrise. The views of the Fort from the haveli are beautiful, especially at night, and my room, 134, even had a small balcony to sit on with a view of the Fort. Highly……
