"We stayed one night as we drive in to see the stone spheres at Finca6, which is less than 10 mins from the hotel. Stephany is the hostess and she is wonderful. The room is spare but it was clean and comfortable. The pool was perfect with chairs and hammocks in the shade. There are lots of tables under cover so you can hang out there, rather than your room. "There is no way this is 3.5 star and it is very expensive for a small motel room.
Cold water shower (despite it working for a couple of seconds)
Owner has a pack of dogs that bark all the time - they locked them in when I complained but were out barking again at 6am
It says it is inclusive of breakfast but they didn’t provide it and said it was a mistake
So really poor but the little restaurants nearby were great and I probably had the best meal so far, it’s also a great place for spotting...

"Clean modern room, best shower in Costa Rica at this pricepoint. Fast wifi with excellent coverage. No AC, but room is designed for that with large screens just below the ceiling and a big overhead fan. We stayed for two nights when day time temps were in the upper 80s on the beach, and we were very comfortable at altitude with the breezes from the ocean. The host, Lori, is a gem.
