The property was just as described with a wonderful great room on the primary floor that our family hung out in. The house has great decks and beautiful sunsets and is an easy drive up the hill to the village. The host was wonderful and we would definitely rent this place again.
The house was really big, had everything we needed, and easily accommodated multiple families with a variety of age groups. It was beautifully decorated and the view was absolutely incredible.
This was our second time staying at the property. It is very well kept and clean. Plenty of room for three families. We look forward to coming back again next year.
House was very clean and great location right off cupp run. It was also nice that shuttle service was available to go to top of the world and silver creek. Owner was very responsive to any questions I had which was nice!
Just steps away from the Western Territory. Convenient ski in ski out. The home was clean. The multiple living rooms allowed the children to enjoy their space.
We had a wonderful time and enjoyed the place that we were staying. We had plenty of room And the kitchen had what we needed to cook. The shuttle service was very easy to use and surprisingly very quick. Everything was simple and easy and we had a great time. I would highly recommend this property.
This home was perfect for our family of 8’s stay. Clean, cozy, and with every amenity needed for all meals and relaxation. The view from any level deck off the back of this home is breathtaking! Absolutely stunning sunset and wildlife watching! I highly recommend this very well taken care of home and hope to be back! Thank you Cindy!!
Black Bear Lodge was a great location for a reunion of friends and family that have been skiing together for nearly forty years. We love Snowshoe and the lodge was exceptionally convenient to Cupp Run. We had 14 adults and two children and we were all comfortable. Our host was great with communication and provided everything in the lodge needed for enjoyment. The kitchen is well supplied with cooking and serving utensils and there were plenty of extra towels and blankets. We could not have had a more pleasant stay!
Our family spent 4 days at this amazing property. Everything was perfect! From the on call shuttle service to the ability to walk to Cupp Run, skiing couldn’t have been easier. The layout of the home was perfect for our group, with 2 bedrooms upstairs, the master on the main floor, and 3 bedrooms in the basement. We brought our 2 dogs, and they had so much fun playing in the snow! The kitchen had everything we needed, and we enjoyed cooking while everyone else played games, watched tv, or enjoyed the fire. I couldn’t recommend a better home in snowshoe! Can’t wait to return next year!
The host was fantastic. Respose quickly to all questions .The location wss perfect to Cupp Run! The house was clean.loved the heated towel racks. Kitchen fully equipped. Loved the mtn views. We would def stay here again. Parking was easy. The heated garage was a great mud rooom. Plenty of deer in the area 10 out of 10 Hot tub was fabulous!
Great property enjoyed our stay. Check in was late do to cleaning delay. Believe it weather related. Inconvenient but staff very nice. Bunk bed in basement had broken slab. Otherwise a perfect trip! Thank you.
Perfect spot for our winter Snowshoe vacation. Had 3 generations (4 couples, 6 kids and a dog) staying and was the perfect house. The table fit everyone for large meals and games around the fireplace. For advanced skiers/snowboarders we could ride in and out very easily from the house. And for the beginners in the group the shuttle was very quick/easy to call — they pick you up at the top of the driveway.
Also highly recommend Autumn Breeze Stables for anyone interested in a sleigh/buggy or horse trail ride.
My brother and I treated our adult children (plus one grand infant) to a long ski weekend. The home had plenty of room for everyone to dine, play games, and hang out together. Clean and well-appointed with spectacular views, Black Bear Lodge is located on a quiet street only two houses away from a Black Diamond slope -- practically ski-in, ski-out. The less experienced skiers took the shuttle, which was also convenient and timely.
We had 3 families stay and all of the adults had their own rooms and their own bathrooms, which is so nice!
Cabin is located right off Cup Run. Most of our group were not black Diamond proficient, but the shuttle was easy to call and drivers were always super nice. Some of us were able to use Cup Run to go back to the cabin since it’s a very short portion of the run to get back.
Kitchen was well stocked. Hot tub was nice and big. Would return!
This home was perfect for 3+ plus families for our annual ski trip. With ages ranging from 6 to 59, we had plenty of beds and living space for our crew of 18. Beautifully furnished bedrooms and bathrooms with a spacious kitchen and dining area to enjoy meals together. Throw in outdoor hot tub and great time watching the national championship game by the fireplace and it was perfect. Shuttle was easy and nice having a second fridge and kitchenette downstairs. Hoping to do it again next year!!! Thanks Cindy
It's difficult to find a large home with more than one king-size bedroom. This house checked that box and so many others! It has 3 king size bedrooms, location was perfect for easy access to our biking adventures, hot tub and deck for hanging out after a long day on the mountain, storage solution for all bikes, 2 laundry rooms, etc. We had a couple issues with the wifi and AC, but Cindy was very responsive and coordinated service appointments and had everything fixed in a couple days.
We had quick access to the mountain and it was super nice that the shuttle picks you up! Garage was great for keeping all our ski gear. The accommodations are beautiful and comfortable. We had an amazing time. Fully stocked kitchen and the house has everything you need. Highly recommend!!!!
