“Berkey himself is a gracious, helpful, and thoughtful host. His communications are excellent and once there, he will be there for you. He attends to details and has pride in this hideaway. It requires a walk up ~40 steep steps but once on top, your are in a beautiful valley with wildlife and jungle sounds. Accommodations are basic but sufficient, if you are looking for an experience more like Dominica than a luxury hotel, Berkey's place is fine. Access to the property is straightforward and……

“This was my 2nd time staying at Pinard Mountain Resort and it was wonderful. The beautiful views and calm tranquil surroundings made my stay amazing. The staff are warm and welcoming. I was very happy to see Ms. Remy again. She is a beautiful & intellegent young woman and a great asset to the resort. I was very sad to leave but am hopeful to come back and stay again next year. “Overall we loved it, though it would have been good to know that you can't drive to the hotel if you don't have a proper 4WD as it is located at the end of a long and steep tarished road. Luckily the hotel offers an transport service for the dirty road between 8am and 5pm. They also offer food(preorder only) and drinks at the bar. The staff was very nice and always helpful. Our favourite was the weekday driver. The cottage had a very nice kitchen unfortunately not much utensils in it... Being so……

“Staying at this property was truly the right decision for all the good reasons. First of all and foremost, James and Maureen Dominique are simple one of the best hosts I've ever had. They were so supportive and attentive to all of my needs, even when some of them came late in the night. I loved their friendship and huge smile when greeting me anytime we met each other. Their one-bedroom suite is super comfortable, spacious and fully and well furnished, good for all kinds of stays. The house……

“Rustic cabins for simple living near all great attractions and hiking. 10 minutes from the Roseau, waterfalls, hot springs,... Great for a taste of rural outdoors living (with a strong wifi connection 😀)”

“Whenever I am in Dominica, I will stay at Villa Copthall. The staff is exceptionally courteous and attentive. Breakfast and Dinner on site with Bar was clutch. Parking is available and secure. The area is quiet and serene and close to downtown. ”
