Memory visit for Mom

Great Little Spot

This is the perfect place for a few days away. The house is decorated beautifully. Lots of thoughtful details with the decor.The location overlooking the harbour and a little park kept us entertained for hours. The town of Souris is so pristine and well kept and the surrounding area stunningly gorgeous. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Comfortable and homey

Well renovated home decorated tastefully with a beach theme! Enjoyed this property very much. Kitchen and bathroom were well supplied, and our bed was comfortable. Our view of the lighthouse and harbour was beautiful! Thanks to our hosts!!

Well located nearby thé ferry to go to « Iles de la Madeleine « , Nice view of the océan … The cottage was cozy, well refurbished

A perfect waterfront getaway!

This newly renovated 2 bedroom could not have been more lovely! All the details have been considered and feels like it is right off the pages of a summer beach read. Add the waterfront location and value is incredible!

Beautiful cottage!

This place was newly renovated and we were the first guests!! Wow, what a beautiful renovation it was. There was a lot of attention to detail. It was so beautifully decorated as well, but felt cozy and just as a cottage should feel. Had everything we needed for our stay. View was awesome! Beds were comfy! And Cathy was great to communicate with.

Beautiful home in Souris, perfectly located!

This home had everything we needed and more. Every room is beautifully decorated, extremely clean and cozy. Kitchen is also very well equipped, which is a big plus! The house is strategically located and you can access groceries, shops and restaurants within a few minutes walk. Only 10 minutes drive away from Basin Head beach and an hour from Charlottetown. We had plenty of things to do when the weather was nice and cozied ourselves inside if it was raining. We would gladly come back for another week!

We enjoyed our stay at Cathy’s property. The home was very comfortable for 2 couples, very clean and wonderfully decorated. The view of the harbour from the front porch gave the men hours of enjoyment watching the daily coming and going of travellers lol. The grocery store, liquor store, Lobster Shack and Poke Shack are all less than a 5 min drive away. If you are considering this rental you won’t be disappointed.

Simply the best

My words will not cover how pleased we were with Cathy’s property. The property is beautifully renovated with so much attention to ensure a quality stay; lovely linens, dishes, decor unique to PE, and the most well equipped property I have ever been. Cathy also ensured we were aware of local events and went out of her way to ensure our stay was great! From cleanliness to location, it really was incredible! This property will not disappoint! Wonderful gem in Souris

This spot was a lucky find! This lovely home was spotless and well-appointed. We felt very comfortable and had everything we needed to enjoy our time in Souris. The location is perfect- with wonderful spots to explore by car and by foot. The neighbours were very friendly and helpful- and we cannot say enough good things about our hosts, who went above and beyond to accommodate us. The Best of PEI

We’ve stayed in a lot of wonderful places, but Cathy’s cottage was the best equipped and most thoughtfully decorated. It was a joy to hang out there, especially on our one blustery day of our vacation. The beds are comfy with a lovely ocean breeze coming through the window. Loved the washer/dryer. The appliances were super and the stove had a great hood fan for cooking seafood. The dishes, placemats, etc were so pretty. Cathy was excellent at taking care of us, even sending over the neighbours to solve a tv problem when we still wanted to watch The Jays! Great value for Ontario residents used to sky high cottage rentals. Worth the drive to PEI and lots to do in Souris.

Relaxing in Souris

Cathy presents her property like it is: Perfect! We have enjoyed holidays in rental homes for many years and in many different places, but never have we ever stayed in a cottage that well stocked. Everything we could think of was available to us! It was so very pleasant. Our only comment was that we visited during a extremely hot period and the cottage does become overheated during the day, despite the fans! I don't think that temperatures in the 30+ are common in Souris so I would not be too concerned, but we could have used a bit of air conditionning during part of our holidays. The cottage is just lovely and what about the daily nature show when around 8h30 the foxes come out and play in the little park in front of the house?! Just wonderful. Harbor lights

We loved staying in Souris. The house was adorable and really well equipped. We were ahead of the season so a lot of stores and shops weren’t open but we liked it because there were no crowds. Thanks for the coffee, soap and jelly! Would love to live on PEI.

Perfect location for Souris!

The house is perfectly located for a stay in Souris, with much of the town available within walking distance and a great view of the ferry coming into and out of port each day. The house is perfectly equipped for your visit and very comfortable. We even saw a neighborly fox enjoying the waterfront park as well!
