We found that the room they gave us was not clean. Went back to the front desk to get another room. That was not clean either. They end up giving us a set of bed sheets and pillow cases to replace them ourselves. Terrible and worst experience with a hotel establishment ever. Did I mention that key cards were not working and the elevator closest to our room was out of order?

You get what you pay for and then a little less. Staff was friendly and room was clean. Pool was closed, one elevator not operational as well as 2nd floor ice machine. Breakfast only had half of what it was set up for. Not an awful experience but not great.

There was something weird about the carpet. I couldn't take my shoes off. The building maybe under construction/renos? The room numbers were printed on paper and stuck to the doors. We were only there for one night for a sports tournament. We didn't make it to the pool. The staff were awesome, very helpful and very friendly. 5 stars for their staff.

Family trip to South Bend
When we first arrived the young lady informed us that the room we booked was not available but she would bump us up to another room at no additional cost. Very disappointed to come home and see that instead was charged more then stated. Very upsetting especially since had stayed there before & never had that happen.

The bed was comfortable up to Hampton Inn standards. The bath tub had dirt stains with no shampoo in the bottle. I went down to breakfast at 7:45 on a Tuesday morning and all of the hot breakfast items were gone and not replenished. I was able to get 1 cup of coffee and it was gone and not replenished. Never saw an attendant that was checking on items. It's just an old Hampton and not up to the standards of the other Hampton Inns that I've stayed in over the years.
