Don't GO.

Room 124 damp & musty. Electrical outlets missing covers. Updated room that serms not finished. Ac dounds like a train, noisy. Not a good look. My wife was extremely disappointed for BW. Pool closed reason for selection. Rooms small and no micro fridge/ microwave. Thank God I did'nt pay the over 100.00 rate. Would be really upset. Will not go back. Staff wad fine & breakfast. Smile. Kirby.

Decent hotel at a decent price.

For being located in the city of D. C. the price was reasonable. My biggest complaint was that I booked ahead of time through Expedia and paid using my credit card. When I arrived I noticed that they gave AAA members a discount and asked if I can get the discount being that I am a member. Of course, they said sorry but you already paid for the room and there is nothing we can do about it. Gotta love it when computers tie the hands of people from being able to do what's right. I should have been able to receive this discount but, the computers would not allow it. This is wrong. In the past before modern technology they would have done this. While all this was happening there was a gentlemen next to me that complained about a price variance due to not receiving a AAA discount and the staff did an over-ride for him because he did not pay yet. I'm not sure I can use services such as Expedia again if this is the result. I hate feeling ripped off and I definitely was in this case so no more Expedia for me unless I get my discount back.

The bathroom is so small you can barely fit in it. The beds are so uncomfortable that we woke up with back aches.

Don't stay here

We stayed at this hotel because we called and the receptionist said that they had a free airport shuttle. The shuttle was actually to the metro station to catch the metro to the airport. So we ended up having to pay $170 for parking on top of $140 (after taxes) for this dirty smelly hotel. I do not recommend staying here.

No need to go back there again..

Pros: Easy access to freeway.
Cons: See comments above.
Location: Close to Metro, mall, and restaurants.
Mattress was very saggy in the middle with broken springs. Dresser drawer was broken and the shower was clogged and ankle deep in water. Toilet was slow to flush.Water would rise to the top of the toilet then slowly go down. Wall outlets were too loose to hold plugs. Had difficulty keeping CPAP machine plugged in. Room smelled musty. Floors felt sticky . Don't know how often they clean floors. Breakfast was adequate if you stick to cold cereal, however, first morning the milk was warm.

Get What You Pay For

Pros: Room rate was cheapest in town. Breakfast was included and was adequate.
Cons: Cleaning needs to be improved to include adding ammonia or other germ killing chemical to the cleaning solution.
The staff was indifferent and lacked any customer service. My room was constantly being cleaned at 5 pm , which is when I returned from my work. Not ideal. The room and the hotel smelled of a sickening sweet cleaning solution so any germs were not being cleaned. When I extended my stay at the hotel, I had to pay a second security deposit. My keys did not work on a daily basis. Their amenities to include internet and print capabilities printed in poor quality or not at all.

Pros: The pool and the breakfast
Cons: Updating the hall ways and having an easy access to the lobby from the rooms. It was hard having to key code so many doors.
The hotel was undergoing renovations and we did have a problem with the water leaking from the second floor on us as we were on the first floor. The kids loved the pool and the breakfast was very nice. They let you in the breakfast area all day which is very nice for late night snacks for the kids and drinks for the adults. The shuttle to the metro station to catch the subway into DC was very nice and they pick you up as well. I know some folks complain that the last pick up is at 9 pm, but since the DC mall exhibits close at 6 pm it was not a problem. Due to the price of the metro I would recommend the travel time to start on or after 9:30 am

OK for the price

Pros: Just the best price for a business trip. That's about it.
Cons: Just about everything. But despite renovations, EVERYTHING could have been cleaner and better maintained.
Location: Shopping and restaurants closeby.
This Best Western is being renovated, but seems like that's an excuse for poor maintenance and poor cleanliness. It's close to shopping and restaurants, but you wouldn't want to walk. The view is of I-95 ramps.

Great Value For a Family

Pros: The front desk agent named Stella was exceptionally nice and helpful! Pool was big and had a lifeguard!
Cons: Clarification on deposits especially if using a third party to book the reservation.
Location: Close to metro and easy ride to all the museums and D.C. attractions.
We stayed at this hotel for three nights and was pleasantly surprised with the updated room. The breakfast buffet in the morning is a great value if you are traveling with kids. Tons of hot and cold items available and was really good! Great location and the shuttle to the metro was an excellent perk!
