The lady checking me was very kind, but from there it was just one disappointment after another. There was several smaller things, but the biggest thing was coming back to my room to check out & seeing a woman coming out of my room with all my things still in it.. I called out to her I hadn't checked out and she left my room.. I got my things together & went downstairs to talk with the lady at the desk about what happened. She said I should have put a "do not disturb" sign on my door & it wouldn't happened. I told her the room was supposed to be mine until 11:00 and it was only a little after ten. She still insisted it was my fault and never once apologized. I have never been treated like that when staying in a hotel, usually just the opposite.
The condition of my room was not what I expected from a Hampton. There was rips in the curtains, a big tear on the box springs, stains all over the carpet, & the food was not prepared well.
I will be going to Lincoln often from now on and I can assure you I will not to staying at this Hampton. I am still in shock with the rude behavior from the girl at the desk along with the 2 cleaning girls that walked up when I checked out on 9-4, Sunday morning.
I can only assume that Lincoln Hampton Inn isn't able to get quality help and also refuse to do any updates that appear should have been done months/years ago.
This Hampton Inn gives all Hampton Inns a negative look and feel.. I can only hope changes will be made..
