There’s a mold problem and there’s a mice problem. Additionally there are too many flies in the main dining hall. The cats in the dining hall are disturbing. All poses major health issues.

Everything was great but the only problem.....there was to much flies everytime i was eating food in the restaurants........except for the Italian and the Indian restaurants cause thoses restaurants was inside ...but as for everything else it was great ...........

The property was right next to the airport which was very convenient, but they do not provide free airport shuttle. The taxis charge around $12 for 2 people and anything extra is up to the taxi driver. The property is very clean and has beach access, but the beach is very rocky. There isn't too much flat area for young kids. The all-inclusive food was very disappointing. They didn't have too many choices, especially for vegetarians and it was the same set of food options.

Arrived excited to celebrate my birthday as the property said “Luxury” which was far from the truth. Check in was fine until we reached our room. As we booked an ocean view then ended up in a moldy room with no AC and damages to room along with trash outs side the corner of patio that had no ocean view. (Took photos as I was in disbelief) To top it off the fridge was not fully stocked. We called the front desk and was moved to a better room and with the proper view with all things working so we thought great all will go well. Next morning woke up to a room filled with rain flies/ants that were swarming everywhere. As they were coming under the gap in patio door and front door. Spent my entire birthday morning trying to kill and clean up a nasty mess. Notified front desk as these bugs left patio completely covered with wings they came swept in corner left sliding doors covered with dead ones. Moving along to day 5 & 6 we had no beverage restock, I called made two complaints still no service at all. So as the storm landed we were left no water or any beverages and had to walk far in pouring rain to the coffee shop trying to get water or beverages. To end our 6 & 7 day I ended up with food poisoning. Cats roaming around dining area and flies all over the food. Food left out is not good. Spent first day off resort vomiting on tour stops. Last day waited over hour in sun for bellhop called three times. Hotel needs major update from staff to property. Will not be back for sure!

I arrived to the property at 5pm after regular check in time hoping that the check in process would be smooth because there was only 2 guests’ at the front desk waiting for assistance. I was checked in within 10 minutes but had to wait an additional 45 minutes to receive the hand band (room key) to access the room because they claimed to have run out of hand bands, however the guests that checked in after me got their hand bands within a speedy timeframe. The staff told me have a seat and wait in the interim but I was left forgotten. I had to follow up with the front desk personnel for an update about the handband. They mentioned that they had to wait for the supervisor to get the hand bands. The waiting process for the hand bands was a turn-off and it seems as this was intentional. On the other hand room service was great. Speedy response to check on the orders and delivery of the food.

I booked the diamond club walk out ocean view room. The room was amazing. All the staff on the property were welcoming and did an great job at answering all of our questions or fulfilling our request. Our butlers Brad and Jermisha were excellent and assisted us with dinner reservations and always checked in to ensure we were having a great time. I would recommend them both to anyone. The spa treatment I did was worth it for me. The massage was good and I felt less stressed and relaxed afterwards. There are always activities throughout the day to keep everyone entertained. I participated in the aqua aerobics class and had a fun time. I also did the bingo and it was very interactive with the audience. The nightly entertainment is a variety of vocal artists and my favorite the acrobatics and fire show. Both of which were executed well by the vibes team. The food is good. The buffet is always a win for breakfast and lunch but the specialty restaurants are where I liked to have dinner.My favorite was Taj, we had it the first night and it was ok but we went a second night and the chef really did a good job. The diamond club lounge was a place I frequented because it was convenient and had a delicious variety of finger food options all day. The resort is about a 5 minute walk from the airport. I booked a taxi for convenience, Burris Taxi service through whats app. They were on time, accommodating with airline delays on arrival and professional. I would recommend them!

I had an amazing time at the Royalton. Gus specifically was very friendly and accommodating. He greeted us every day and made sure we were having a great time. Ernell at the souvenir shop was also extremely friendly, efficient and helping in resolving an issue I had. All of the staff at the spa were amazing and inviting and all of the bartenders were friendly and welcoming. It was my friends birthday and the staff celebrated her daily at breakfast , lunch and dinner. I can’t wait to bring g my family back

When we arrived we were given a room with one king size bed. There were three of us, online we booked two queen size beds. Until I realized it was a way to get us to upgrade and spend more money they quickly found us an appropriate room. The room was dated. The bathroom was moldy, the bed was uncomfortable and we had a rat or mouse ate our left over food. I’ve never stayed at a resort with rodents inside the room. In addition, the food was extremely limited, poor area crowded and if you are not a Diamond member you are treated like a peasant. Most of the staff were dry and u friendly. I would never stay at the Royalton again!
