Weekend up north
We stayed on Pickerel Lake for a couple of nights in July while attending a wedding near Minocqua. The house is nice and we had fun. Our issue was that the listing and communication prior to arriving did not mention that the rental does not come with towels (hopefully this changes!!. I did miss a call from the property manager where supposedly they were going to provide all of this information, I was sent an email without that info.) I left town quickly on the way up and went to shower upon arrival and ended up using a dirty shirt to dry off. I tried to send a message asking about towels but reception was poor and the wifi password was not provided anywhere. We ended up having to purchase towels in Minocqua and eventually we were sent the password (and we received confirmation that there are no towels provided.) We did have fun in the cabin. There are a lot of locked doors but the spaces that are available have a nice northern WI vibe. The view from the deck is of the other cabins in the resort. Beds seem like they're all full size. End of the day we wish that we would have booked a rental earlier so that we could've had more options for the price paid and we wish we would've known about the towels and the wifi password ahead of time.
