It was a family wedding so we had an amazing day. Only criticism was the breakfast. I had the eggs benidict it was cold, tea was cold my husband and other members of our family had full english they all said it wasent good . Do not stay in room 10 if you expect to stand up whilst you shower. My partner had to shower on his knees; he's around 6'1" so not overly tall and I'd say this would be the case for anyone over 5'9". Similarly, his feet hung out the bottom of the bed which significantly impacted upon his sleep. In addition, the door to reception is next to the room which bangs each time someone goes through. We suggested to the reception staff that it needs to be slow closing and they said they're aware of this due to previous complaints but haven't actioned anything. Why, I don't know. Finally, we had to use the body wash as hand wash and keep moving it from the shower to the sink which I've never had to do, apparently this is acceptable and the reception staff did not understand why this was an issue. We were also told that "there's a first for everything" when we explained about the shower issue. I do not believe that this is the first time this issue has been raised because most couples would have the same problem. I understand they are unable to change the shower due to the structure of the room but guests should be told upon booking and have the option to request a different room.
