“The Arc Harrogate is a small but fantastic hotel. There were detailed instructions sent to me about everything before I arrived and I had a lovely warm welcome from the owner. The parking is on street parking, but the hotel provided the necessary permits, complete with a photo of how to display them and details of what time the parking ran out. “We had a lovely 2 night stay. The standard double was a good size. Large comfortable bed (two joined singles), modern bathroom with a generous shower. A fan was provided as it was very warm at night. Not the greatest view and the occasional noise of the bottle bins being emptied! The breakfast was a good selection with the added bonus of a great view. We loved the quirky ‘Yorkshire’ references. Ideal location. We used the train for a trip to Knaresborough.”
