"Beautiful cottage, absolutely huge with a large garden too. Very comfortable for 8 friends, especially with the 4 bathrooms and a single toilet downstairs. We loved having the full dining table that we could all fit around both inside and outside. All of the cottage was spotless and beautifully decorated, with every amenity we could want really. Nothing more we could have wanted! Close to the beach if you fancy a day out, and a trip to Malton for some nice food. It’s not super close to any...

"Lovely restored cottage with full kitchen amenities and a great bathroom, right in town. Parking was free outside, just had to keep an eye for a spot. Only a couple of constructive criticisms - the top floor double room faces out at the back onto the car park for the pub who shine mega spotlights all night. The velux window blind is inadequate, you need a blackout and or even a curtain to pull over. Also the bed was great except a really big heavy duvet which was too warm for me; others might...

"Bedrooms and bathrooms clean and nice. Lounge bit scruffy.Kitchen was filthy. Cupboards had been painted and paint was still wet. Freezer drawers all broken. Drawers not clean and oven was filthy.Sham as the 3rd floor was very nice with bathroom facilities all good. "

"Such a cute cottage, with everything you need. Bed is very soft, kitchen is well equipped. Hot tub is fabulous and very private. It's a lovely, tranquil location but just minutes away from 2 small market towns. I had a wonderful stay and I'm sure I'll book again."

"Dead spider next to dresser table, old stain on bedding cover, cob webs on seating tables outside, leaves swept under the outside sofa cover and dirty sofa under the cover. Could be cleaned a lot more professionally Not hot tub instructions in regards to when the tube gets cold as we tried the second night and it was too cold to stay in. Would be nice to have instructions to re heat. Overall the stay was really nice and I would definitely re visit! "

"We had a lovely 2 night stay. There is a great farm shop and cafe just 20 minutes away where we gained our supplies as well as a Tesco down the road in market Weighton for essentials. The hosts were super friendly and the welcom basket was generous. For usbjt was an anniversary stay and Sue was so sweet going above and beyond with a balloon, bubbly and even a card. The mayflower is beautifully kitted out and decorated I could literally live here (i am already thinking ahead 30years to retierment...
