“Our stay started very poorly as the property clerk had no info about my reservation and the host reports that he had no idea about either. This was very stressful and frustrating as I arrived at the hotel at 2am with my family including 3 young kids under the age of 7 and spent an hour making sure that I was scammed. At last, I had to text my payment confirmation to the host who had already approved my stay. Despite the rocky start, I liked the space and the apartment was comfortable. The host……

“The room was not clean. There was a stain on the bedspread. Outside on the balcony, the armchair was torn and there was no cover for it, so I couldn’t sit on it. The chairs outside were also very dirty, and there was a terrible smell on the balcony. The table outside was broken. Inside, there was also a problem with the toilet—every time I used it and came out, water would be left all over the floor.”
