Great Long Weekend Ski Trip
We booked Curtis’ property for a recent trip with friends to ski Palisades Tahoe. The location was great, only about 15 minutes or so to the mountain from the house. All of the instructions and documentation Curtis provided in his communications both via email and at the hose were concise and easy to follow. Check in process was very easy and straight forward. The cabin was very clean and well stocked from soap and shampoo to coffee and kitchenware. The beds were also very comfortable and the neighborhood was very quiet and peaceful. Perfect for a rustic escape. In the evenings we were just a quick 5-10 minute ride to Main Street and many restaurants but there was also a market nearby and we could have easily prepared meals at the house with all that was provided. Overall a great experience and a great location for a ski getaway!

Wonderful Winter Getaway!
Large bedrooms, plenty of bathrooms, and a well stocked kitchen. Convenient location close to restaurants and shops in Tahoe City. Pets are allowed, so everything we could ask for in a Tahoe winter retreat!

If I could give it 6 stars I would
This house was phenomenal for our Tahoe ski vacation with friends. The house was extremely clean, stocked very well, bathroom in each room and king sized beds. Extra bonus that it’s dog friendly. The hot tub was great after a day of skiing. We were almost snowed in and the owner was very responsive and flexible with the situation.

Awesome house and location
Our family of 4 really enjoyed our stay. No problems with check-in, clean upon arrival and great communication with our host. The house had everything we needed and the location was great! Just a ten minute walk from Paige Meadows and a 45 min drive to Sugarbowl. We would definitely stay here again.

Great property. Appreciated how well stocked the cabin was with kitchenware and spare tissues, paper towels, etc. Power strips located throughout the house, with both 120V and USB connections.

My family and I stayed here in Sept 2023 and we really enjoyed our stay. The house was perfect for our size family, loved the fact that all 3 bedrooms had all their own private bathrooms. Bonus that the owner excepts dogs, thank you for that. We will for sure go back and visit. The communication with the owner was awesome, thanks again!

Wonderful Cabin!
This is an amazing cabin with lots of room! We loved the location with access to hiking trails in the neighborhood and a short drive to the private beach park. The highlights of the house were the lovely front deck, hot tub and grill out back, and the amazing kitchen. The beds were also really comfortable. It was a super relaxing stay, and we would definitely come back in the future!

Wonderful stay, great host and amenities
My family spent 4 nights in Curtis' place and had a great stay. There was more than enough space for everybody. The two upper bedrooms would be great for two small families. One had a king bed with twin bunk beds in a large closet that had its own window, light, vent, and some shelving, so it could be partitioned off from the main bedroom, while the other had a king bed with a twin bed in an alcove. Both were en suite, one with a bathtub, one with a step in shower. The downstairs bedroom had a queen bed with another en suite bathroom with step in shower, and then there was a fourth full bathroom in the hall. All of the bathrooms had shampoo, conditioner, and soap. A note for less mobile people: the beds were all rather high, and my elderly mother needed to improvise a stool to get on and off of the queen. The living room had three couches, a bunch of games and a fireplace. The kitchen was well-equipped, with a lot of counter space, basic cooking supplies (oil, salt, pepper, etc), a lot of dishes and utensils, pots, pans, coffee maker, etc etc. We didn't use the outdoor space much, but the front porch was spacious with a nice table and chairs, and there was a hot tub and grill as well. The house is located a little out of the way, since it's ~5 minutes up quite a steep hill from 89 (stunning views on the drive). The private beach was nice - I recommend checking it out. Curtis was very responsive every time I messaged him. We would definitely stay here again!

Tahoe Weekend
We found this great cabin for our annual trip to Tahoe. The host was responsive and the cabin was easy to check in and out of. The cabin was clean and so beautiful! A full bathroom in every room too! We enjoyed our stay here very much and would definitely book again in the future.

Perfect mountain home!

Christmas vacation
Comfortable, family and pet friendly house that worked well for us through the Christmas holiday. Beds and bathrooms were large and comfy, hot tub and fire place were great, large kitchen was nice for cooking meals. Nearby trails were a quick walk up the road - which worked nicely for walks with the dog. All in all, it was a great stay.

Winter wonderland
We had a lovely stay at this cabin. Definitely got snow this year. Everything was perfect. Cooked some good meals and had a nice cozy get together with friends and family. This cabin has everything you could need. The host was very helpful and wants it to be a perfect vacation. Thanks Curt and we'll see you next year.

Overall a great stay, good location and plenty of room for six adults. Great kitchen! Just a few suggestions: We cooked all our meals for our one week stay and could have used more than two kitchen towels -- didn't want to run the washing machine for just a couple towels. A few "extra" wash cloths and hand towels for the bathrooms would also be helpful. Need to identify what each of the thermostats do. More hangers in each closet would be helpful especially when staying for a week. The bear wire system was easy to use. Curt, thanks for your quick response when we had a question about the fridge. Curt, please check the power strip in the front bedroom upstairs beside the closet, only one outlet works and the light on the nightstand by the door in that bedroom is broken. Again, a great stay!

Linens need replacement
I originally rented this property to bring my grandchildren because they had access to the beach but at the last minute they were not able to come. I recommended to the owner that he replace all the towels , mattress pads etc . a general deep cleaning and organizing. .I also did not care for all the food that was in the pantry and refrigerator. I prefer to use my own. In general it was in a great location and Curt was very easy to deal with.

We are constantly improving our Tahoe house to make it a nicer place to spend time, so we always appreciate any suggestions from people who have stayed there. We took Mary's suggestions and replaced all towels with luxury bath towels. We also replaced all mattress pads with high end luxury mattress pads. This house is very well organized, but we did make some organizing improvements in the kitchen. We also scheduled all deep cleanings at closer intervals. In addition, we have asked our cleaning service to be sure not leave excessive food items in the pantry or refrigerator. Some items like sugar, flour, spices, olive oil etc. are left and provided for people to use.

Amazing Getaway
This was my first experience renting a cabin and boy did I hit the jackpot! Everything here was exactly what was described and more! Beautiful house that was warm and comfortable. Three master bedrooms was awesome and the kitchen had everything you could think of! It was a pleasure to cook there especially on a Viking stove. Private Beach access and the hot tub was just icing on the cake! Checking in and out was easy and the host was great with communication. I would highly recommend this property to anyone. I know it won't be the last time I stay there, can't wait to come up again! My family and I had a blast, thank you so much!

More than expected!
We enjoyed our getaway greatly. We made a turkey dinner, cake and several breakfast meals. Had all the cookware and spices you could ask for. Plenty of beds and bathrooms to choose from and all the channels we needed on TV.

Wonderful Tahoe Home
This home was everything we wanted and more. The kitchen was a pleasure to cook in, all beds and rooms were comfortable and large but cozy. The walking proximity to the National Forest for sledding and walking was wonderful. Proximity to the skiing locations is also fantastic! Our family would love to rent this home again!

Best vacation rental
We stay in vacation rentals a couple of times a year, and this is the best yet. It was easy to get checked in, the house was clean, the kitchen was amply supplied, the beds we comfortable and cozy, the showers and spa tub were all good, and the hot tub was clean and hot. The check out was also easier than some of the places we rented- was dishes, adjust thermostat, start a load of towels. We will be returning. One note- pets are allowed in the house, but not on furniture. Fine for our crate trained pup, but might be a challenge for some.

Family getaway
Had a wonderful time with the family there. The kids and dogs really enjoyed playing in the snow just right in the backyard , and the adults enjoyed snowshoeing . The jacuzzi is very nice, especially after being in the snow. The house was quite comfortable and well equipped. Look forward to returning. next time.

We enjoyed a nice 3 day weekend with the kids sledding at the meadow. Our dog especially loved all the sweet neighborhood pups we met on our walks in the morning. Everything we needed was there. Very convenient.

Lovely mountain getaway
Even better than the pictures! The bed was so comfy with plenty of blankets. The kitchen lacked for nothing and we happily cooked all our meals on the huge range and oven. Walking distance to some nice dog friendly trails. House was very clean and surfaces had clearly been sanitized recently. Easy check in/out. No complaints whatsoever, we had a great time!
