“The hotel is fantastic. A great room. Beautiful, impressive grounds. Good walks. Brilliant for dogs. Staff very helpful and friendly especially Grace. Could not fault our stay. Wonderful food. Will definitely stay again ”
“We stayed in room 9 which was a studio double and it was fabulous. Lovely views over saundersfoot, sea and harbour. Lovely clean bedding & fluffy towels. Wi-Fi great. Separate small kitchen area had everything you needed. Wouldn’t hesitate in staying here again. Free parking and a couples min walk into town ”
“The host was friendly helpful and I had an enjoyable stay. Welsh breakfast was delicious and of high quality. Bedroom is spacious and comfortable. It is a bit away from the castle but 10 mins walk from pubs and restaurants so it is quiet at night. Host was helpful in trying to get me a taxi for Sunday which was a bit of a chaos. If I pass by there that would be the place I stay.”
“A very well appointed inn, scenically based on the edge of the haven, run by a charming family of four who could not be more friendly or helpful. The breakfast is superb and the evening menu varied. All meals are cooked to order and prepared to a high standard. In short, a splendid place to stay within reach of numerous local attractions. We intend to return.”
“My wife and I had a wonderful couple of days here.
The location is ideal for those wanting good access to Saundersfoot or Amroth, and 5 minutes from the local seaside pub too.
Rooms were very tidy, quiet and comfortable. Breakfast was really lovely too!
And we had such a warm welcome and were given some great tips for our stay too.
It was also so nice to see rabbits and bird life over breakfast.
Highly recommend ”
“We had a lovely 2 night stay. Janey & Rod were very welcoming & friendly. The room was spotlessly clean and the location was ideal. Breakfast in our room overlooking the beautiful garden was a great way to start the day. Thank you both! ”
“It was cheap - you get what you pay for. Shared bathroom and kitchen, which was expected based on price and photos, but not clear in details and another guest hadn’t assumed this and caused a big scene on check in. Wasn’t dirty, but could have been cleaner. Beds were comfy, but sheets smelt damp. Air con didn’t work in our room or another room that was empty. Free parking. Walking distance of the town centre which has takeaways. Kinda average stage. But cheapest around”
“Amazing as we remember it when we last came 9 years ago, had a Warm Welcome on arrival from Tracy's Son and we stayed in exactly the same room as we did 9 years ago. Room was beautiful and spotlessly clean in such a peaceful location. Breakfast was freshly cooked and lovely, filled me for the day, my Partner had Welsh Rarebit which she said was stunning. Looking at returning again next year, we won't leave it another near decade until next time, 10/10! ”
“Lovely stay. Will definitely visit again. Great experience in the hotel- so many options to choose from for breakfast, room was cleaned daily, charming breakfast basket bought to the room, staff were really nice and gave us advice about nearby options. Excellent experience overall! 100% recommended.”
“Amazing old house with interesting decor managed. By a great couple. Nothing was too much trouble.mBreakfast was exceptional and our dog was so welcome.”
“We felt very comfortable in this friendly guest house. The breakfast was excellent .We bought fresh eggs from their hens and home made jam and chutney to take home to remind us of the lovely time spent there.”
“An excellent hideaway place as advertised, also has a cottage for hire or glamping with a local well stocked shop.
Ideal location for all the beaches and attractions.
The morning breakfast was superb, a mix of cereals, fruit, continental style, as well as the full welsh cooked.
The room was everyone you could as for, cosy, relaxing with a lovely en-suite.
I would highly recommend this hotel, though I do want to revisit, so ignore this report.
Seriously a wonderful stay, and will be back. ”
