“Fantastic service from the staff. Great room with million dollar views. Most comfortable bed I have slept in Sri Lanka. Beautiful rooftop with great infinity pool overlooking Kandy lake. Very walkable location - to the city in minutes! The only negative is that the hotel could not handle the volume of guests at breakfast. Many dishes were empty and kept empty for ages. The hoppers we ordered took 2 hours to come! This was the day after the Randoli Perahera so is assume they were not equipped……

“We had the most wonderful stay at the Coffee Bungalow. The building, which has been beautifully restored and appointed, sits in arguably the best location above Kandy and the warm and elegant hospitality was memorable. We cannot recommend more highly! I was shocked to see a negative review in my name which most definitely did not come from me. Beware of hacks. ”
