Do NOT go to this property if you don’t like extra fees. We never made it to our room. Booked online and when we arrived they wanted us to pay a $150 deposit for a $65 room. That’s ridiculous. It did NOT mention this when we booked it. Hotel wouldn’t give us a refund so now I’m fighting with Expedia to get one. You’re be better off going to Super 8 next door.

This was probably the cleanest hotel I have stayed in on my cross country trek. Even the tile floor in the public areas was pristine. The room with two queens was roomy. And, since Sleep Inn promotes sleeping un cooler rooms, the air conditioning was on when we arrived. Breakfast had biscuits and gravy, one of my favorites, aling withthe usual breakfast fare. The handicapped parking spaces were not well marked. On checkin, the front desk staff was on her cell phone. Rude! I could not tell if she was talking to me or the phone.

The stay wasn’t awful but was nothing like my stay earlier that week, which was great. First of all the two sign on the road directing you to the hotel by 100 percent does not take you to the hotel, but will lead you to a poorly rated Chinese buffet. Instead you need to turn down a small road just pasted the days inn. Upon checking in I was hit with a 150 dollar deposit, which did not happen on my previous stay. I mean they did put a hold on a card but not for an amount. When I mentioned this, I was only told it could take up to 6 weeks to be returned. Thats just an inconvenience because it’s a hold on my travel expenses. When I got into my room it felt warm so I checked the ac and it was set to 71, so I turned it down a few degrees. I never noticed it just blew air but never actually engaged the ac. I called the front desk and told them, and they came to look at it. They turned it all the way down and told me I had it set to 78 (I’m sure when I turned it down from 70 to 68 that I didn’t accidentally push the up button 7 times) and it should cool down soon, but they’d contact maintenance and have them look at it. Maybe they meant today because no one looked at it last night. I was told the hotel was booked solid, even tho the website would let me book another room until 10pm or so. I had stopped looking after that as it had cooled off enough outside to open a window. So around 1am I finally managed to fall asleep and got up at 5 so I could do my work for the day.

Staff was really rude and refused to provide receipt for payment. In particular a younger gal named “Jay”. The rat problem was too in your face. All of the visible traps made it a struggle to rest easy. If you have options, don’t stay here. They have to get it together before they can welcome guests.

The first room I was put in had a hole punched into the wall. The second room had huge bugs crawling on the carpet and the entire floor smelled like weed. I would not stay here again.
