“Great location. Great host. Great property. What more to ask. Nice village location which has one village shop and a pub with a good roast options. Property is well maintained and has all needed amenties. Host is friendly and accommodating. Will visit again.”

“We had a lovely stay in the White Cottage. We found parking easy on the nearby (free) carpark and was a central location. The kitchen had everything we could of needed and more. All areas were lovely and clean and we found the beds very comfy. There was attention to detail in every room. We found the starter pack for the fire very useful and wood was available from nearby shops. We would definitely return, it is a wonderful base to explore the surrounding areas.”

“Nice cosy retreat for 2 + little furry friend. Compact, but we knew it would be, and extremely well designed. Lots of lovely extras to add to the welcome and it was very clean, well set out, parking provided for nearby. No garden (again, we knew this) but lovely views out of the windows and walks from doorstep instantly available. Lovely main fire (not really needed as it happens) and good shower. Open stairs not an issue for man nor beast! Manageable, practicable and comfortable. Perfect small……

“This was an excellent property, immaculate in fact, plenty of storage ,everything was spotlessly clean, modern and well maintained. Beautiful bedrooms , comfy beds, loads of storage again . Everything had been well thought out . Good enclosed garden great for our dog . Margaret the owner was very helpful , the property was in an excellent position for visiting the surrounding area and Kirk Hammerton itself was a beautiful village and we only wish we could have stayed longer !”

“This is one of the best cottages we have ever been to.Situated on a real working farm with dogs, sheep etc. Views across the fields are tremendous and the farm garden is great with outdoor seating.Interior is cosy and clean. Bedrooms are large and bathroom has bath with shower over. There are lots of places to visit a short drive away as well as ample walking routes and quaint pubs. The owners live in the attached farm house and are very welcoming. Lovely welcome pack provided. We will be back for……

“Enjoyed the location of the property, lovely and quiet. Property very clean and well kept”

“Had a lovely stay. Very clèan rooms and comfortable beds. Nice to have 2 en-suite bathrooms. We arrived to find a box of Border biscuits - that was a nice touch. Thanks to the landlord”

“Anne, out host, had thought of just about everything and a bit more. The annex is compact with a friendly feel to it and all equipment is excellent quality. Anne’s efforts to welcome us with necessities went beyond expectations and our stay was without hitches of any kind. Brilliant!”

“The owner, Heather, was very welcoming and hospitable. Heather was informative about the local sites and places to visit. A peaceful location outside Skipton. Well appointed accomodation, although be challenging for less mobile guests due to the stairs and bathroom, however there is a stair lift to help. Good wifi and lovely to be given welcoming custard tarts and butterscotch toffees.”

“Overall the property was ok but in need of decoration and updating. The shower pressure was pitiful and took over 40 minutes to have the showers we did but never felt really clean as didnt feel it washed off shower gel or shampoo”

“The accommodation was fantastic, felt brand new, the location is a bit noisy due to the bus depot next door, they advertised two parking bays but only one was available which due to the lack of parking spaces in the area was quite inconvenient.”

“Nice area, decent shops nearby”
