“Great location staff very helpful clean room”

“The check-in was an indicator of how the stay would go. We were given room key and told it was straight down the corridor opposite the reception desk. It transpired that the room was almost at the furthest point one could be from the reception area and involved a number of changes of direction and finally a very steep and narrow staircase with literally no landing outside the room. It was well that we were both able bodied as it was a struggle to get our suitcases up the stairs. The……

“Don't depend on the included parking. Despite the description saying it's included, if you arrive late, you'll have to drive around town and pay for your own parking. The tub showers are terrible - you can barely move and the shower head is at face height for an avg person. ”

“A wonderful hotel perched above the town of Killarney with amazing views down to Lough Leane. The staff were wonderfully friendly and nothing was ever too much bother. The views from the Lake Restaurant were particularly good and the rooms spacious and well appointed.”

“This is a beautiful hotel, rooms are spacious and clean and there are lots of little nooks and cranny’s to sit quietly if you wish. The bar was busy and we ate there. The service was very good and the food, exceptional. Breakfast too was very good. Overall, a good experience but at a higher than necessary price. Also, there is no pool at this hotel and no pool next door, as suggested. You have access to a pool but that’s a five min drive away, so maybe they do not need to mention a pool at all.……

“We booked two rooms for our family and our stay coincided with the heat wave. One was interior but had a/c and was quiet at night. The other was an upgraded suite but it did not have a/c so the only option for air flow was to keep the balcony door open. Sadly, the balcony opened to the hotel wedding reception area so our evenings were disturbed by music with heavy bass and chatter until 12:30am all nights of our stay.”
