“This 2 story rental villa has a great view of Volcan Arenal from the second story. It overlooks a farm with elephant grass used for grazing animals. The location is about 2 km south of the center of La Fortuna, so a car is necessary. It is close to several of the tour outfitters that do canyoneering and rafting. It is initially hard to see on your first visit (look for the Sapiens sign on Ruta 702) because the group of 3 houses are set 70 meters south of the road and accessed via a thin 1 lane……

“The cabin style home was amazing, I stayed with my 3 kids for almost a week. The home was very equipped in the bathroom and kitchen. I cooked 1-2 times a day and had al the utensils and tools needed for the kitchen. The size of the area was perfect. The views were amazing. It felt like home for us. The kids explored the surrounding of the home. The prize was more than worth it as the home was great. The hosts were also really communicative. “The property is beautifully situated, comfortable and has everything one needs for a stay. The owners live on site and are very attentive and kind but not intrusive. It was well placed for exploring the Arenal area but be aware that the road from Nuevo Arenal is extremely pot holded and the 8 km takes 35 minutes to drive.”

Daniella was very helpful and boy can she cook an amazing breakfast! Make sure to book her breakfast at the property at least once.
