“Wow, what a delightful surprise. The property is an amazing well-preserved and well-furnished early 19th century estate, converted into a B&B. Jean (our host) was extremely amiable and a wonderful conversationalist. She accommodated our late arrival (sorry!) and showed us directly into a living room with a roaring fire. Served a full Irish breakfast the following morning. I'd definitely stay again - and bring others.”

“This place was an absolutely wonderful find! Its location right off the motorway is incredibly convenient, and it’s a quick drive to Waterford. We were a family of four (with an infant) and were delighted to be allowed to check-in early as our room was ready. The room itself far exceeded my expectations; it was cleaner and newer than many dedicated hotels I’ve stayed in. The bathroom was spotless and modern, with excellent hot water and strong water pressure. Despite the presence of a bar……

“Lovely stay at lord Beganals. The property is fabulous tastefully decorated and beautiful fresh flowers in the lobby. Staff are very friendly special mention to Karen and Kay breakfast team !! Food in restaurant also delicious and freshly prepared very efficient even though it was very busy Sleepy little village with lovely walk along the river If you want to make this place even more special consider adding a spa or pool. No matter we’ll be back 💚”
