Beautiful setting, good staff, excellent food. Rooms need some renovation, which we were told was coming. Being so far from Provo made any dining off premises challenging and arranging diving was problematic

"Great resort. "
Grace Bay is everything you'd expect from a 5 star and pricey resort in Turks. It was large but not excessively, extremely well manicured, updated large and comfortable suites, excellent food, and in the perfect location. We rode bikes most days to town for some variety. Very few children which was nice for our couples weekend but some and a dedicated pool area for them. Check out the Thursday night fish fry which is like a county fair but fun for a few hours and you must go to Coyoba and Coco Bistro if you're looking for the best food on the island. Be prepared for some sticker shock but trust me both are worth it! Also Da Conch Shack is a must for Conch everything but their conch salad is to die for. The staff however was very inconsistent. Some staff members were friendly and helpful and made the interactions a pleasure. The other 3/4 were the opposite. It's quite odd. They seemed understaffed to me personally. Service is generally slow in the islands so that wasn't surprising but let's just say that was probably the only disappointment we experienced. They need to work on increasing the level of consistently with service.

"Great condo on the less crowded part of Grace Bay"
This was our first stay on this end of Grace Bay (3rd overall) and it was great! Even though the beach was full in the mid part of grace Bay. The beach on this end was nearly deserted and made for some incredible walks. There was a bar and grill right next door, but we cook a lot.. Caught some Tuna and grilled it on the out door gas grill provided. Also lots of shells just past the non existent surf (this beach is more like a pool). The staff are very friendly and can arrange any trips you want to take

this was the best choice we could have made. There was nothing they didn't think of to provide in the rooms, or on the beach. The staff was excellent, the beach service was spectular and our stay was very enjoyable. the facility is pristine clean. Thank you to all of them, their positive attitude, smiles, and concern to accommodate us for our stay was greatly appreciated.

"Great condo rental on the beach!"
Villa Renaissance is a quiet, family oriented condo that is right on a wonderful beach with a nice pool. You never have to fight for a lounge chair by the pool or the beach no matter what time you go. The location is very close to all kinds of family friendly restaurants. Also, you can purchase groceries for your condo by walking 15 minutes. Be aware - taxies are expensive. The cost is per person and should be negotiated before you take them.

Best and Worst Times to Visit Turks and Caicos

Clear skies and toasty temperatures make December through May the ideal time to visit Turks and Caicos. These months are considered the dry season, when there is little to no rain and the weather is perfect for taking a dip in the ocean. Temperatures generally hover in the 80s F, but with this ideal island weather comes the crowds. The majority of vacationers visit between May and March, which means rates will be higher during this time. If you don’t mind the occasional chance of rain, consider visiting just before the rainy season, between April and May, to face fewer people and lower rates.

Hurricane season runs from the beginning of June to the end of the November, which means there could be anything from minor sprinkles to major storms during this time frame. The warm temperatures and rainfall also attract mosquitos. While it might be considered the worst time to visit, you will find some of the cheapest rates on the islands at this time.

    Things to Do

Out on the water is one of the best places to be during your visit to Turks and Caicos. Kick off your water adventures with a snorkeling excursion down at Bight Reef or Smith’s Reef, where you can swim among stingrays, turtles, and colorful fish galore. Next, kayak around the Little Water Cay’s islets, or wade around the shallow water at Taylor Bay. While you’re in paradise, scuba dive off the coast of Governor’s Beach and surrender to the sunshine on Pillory Beach.

After gallivanting in the sand and sea, check out some of the attractions on dry land. Explore the ruins of the plantation at Cheshire Hall, and venture into the Middle Caicos Caves. As the Caribbean’s largest collection of limestone caves, these caverns feature fascinating arrangements of stalagmites and stalactites. During your stay, mosey over to the Grand Turk Lighthouse and Her Majesty’s Prison before retreating to one of the best resorts in Turks and Caicos.

    About Resorts

    Geography

Turks and Caicos refers to the two island groups that sit in the Atlantic Ocean, southeast of the Bahamas and north of the Dominican Republic. The Caicos islands are larger than the Turks group, but together they make up a chain of 40 islands.

When you’re dreaming of a vacation filled with scuba diving and cave exploring, it’s time to book our cheap flights to Turks and Caicos. Bundle your airfare and resort into your vacation package to receive up to $570 in savings.
