“found a chip under the bed and it was still there after two days.”

“Nice location, only 5 min walk from Hengelo station. The room is spacious and the bathroom is also quite big with a bathtub. The choice of the breakfast is not too much but the price is ok (around 14-15 EUR), comparing to other hotels. There are also plenty of free snacks, tea and coffee bags provided in the room.”

“It has lots of fun activities such as swimming pool, padel course, table tennis, spa, kids playground, bowling, gym. However the room can be more clean and the bathroom has sewer smell, shower head is dirty too.”

“The room was nicely decorated and very clean with a nice new bathroom. It overlooks a church … whose bells ring very often. I now understand why there are earplugs in the room! The cleaning staff found a lot to laugh and talk loudly about in the morning… but every sound can be heard in the bedrooms. So between the church bells and the cleaners’ chatter I was woken up a bit early. The town is pretty and I had a nice stay. The woman at reception was very helpful. (Thank you)”

“Goed hotel, gezellig, sfeervol restaurant/bar.

“No mobile signal, not good if you want to keep in touch with outside world”

“The room could have been more thoroughly cleaned. We found a piece of clothing from previous guests under the nightstand. The room was good and met our needs. Nice staff.”

“I booked and fully prepaid for 2 rooms at MarCant B.V. in the Netherlands through Expedia well in advance. When we arrived at the property, the front desk told us they were completely fully booked and refused to check us in or offer any solution. When I contacted Expedia support, they claimed it was "subject to the hotel," completely ignoring the fact that my financial transaction was directly with Expedia, not the hotel. Here is the current situation: The Hotel (MarCant B.V.): Completely……

“Terrible, Terrible, Terrible. decoration like prison, high window, dark grey walls, feel depressed, heating doesn’t work, freezing nights, and the reception doesn’t care about that. Nobody helps. Most funny thing: APP says washing machine/facility supported, but I can’t use it, I ask then why do you advertise it if you don’t want customers use, they replied: why don’t you call us and check if you can use it before check in? Can you believe that answer! ”

“Net verblijf, zeer vriendelijk personeel. Eenvoudige maar nette kamer. Prima service”
