"The Vintano Hotel is a wonderful start to my first trip to Africa and Nigeria! I am from the US and travel a lot. I have never seen a hotel with so many amazing amenities and for such a great price! They have two pools! One is on the roof top. There is a very nice restaurant, multiple lounges and bars and a movie room where you book your own private movie viewing from their current movies. They also have a small casino, salsa dancing, a brunch and so much more! Above all the staff is so attentive and provides stellar service! I will definitely return! I did hope for a more walkable neighborhood for stores in the area but there is so much to do at hotel I was happy."

However, the hotel is currently undergoing renovations and so there was no access to the pool or gym. The front desk seems to have been moved to accommodate the reno going on.
Overall excellent time was had during my stay.

"My stay was exceptional. I’ve always stayed at Lagos Continental but this time, it was spectacular. I went with my husband and 2 teenage kids for 8 nights. Our adjoining club rooms were very clean and comfortable. Very nice amenities. We only ever ate at Ekabo and the food was fantastic! The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Everyone at concierge, especially Samuel, helped to ensure we had our car hire set up and ready for us each day. He even went to the supermarket to get Gatorade for my daughter when she was ill. He assisted us with many sight seeing activities culminating in a wonderful yacht cruise on the Lagoon. He went above and beyond. They had a jazz band at the pool one night when we hanging out with our extended family. The next morning, there was an electric guitar player at the breakfast buffet at Ekabo. We appreciated all these many touches they added that made our stay extra special "

"There was a clear mold problem. I suffered breathing issues, coughing, chest pain, and a sore throat but 30min after leaving my symptoms resolved. You could smell the mold in the mattresses and the AC conditioners."
"So I'm going explain what happened on the day I booked my stay at this hotel at around 1 AM. I checked on Expedia to see if I could find a hotel. I found this hotel made a payment online via Expedia, got a confirmation number, called the phone number that was listed to confirm that I can check-in even though it was at 1 AM in the morning. The person I spoke to said yes, it was fine to come through, they will check me in. I get to the location and the front desk person asks me "How did I pay?" And I explained that I paid online, and I have a confirmation number and they said, I quote "Expedia doesn't pay us our money for months so we cannot check you in." What? Why is that my problem? If you have issues with Expedia, why do you still have your listing on Expedia. I asked. They insisted that I call their manager to discuss the issue. What? Why do i have to talk to your manager? How is that my responsibility. After a few back and forth, I succumbed and called the manager. Things got worse as this woman called Sade, berated me with insults, claiming that i didnt pay to her account directly and she can't let me in because Expedia doesn't pay them in. I was used because how am i supposed to know her account details whilst booking online on Expedia. Besides there was no option to 'Reserve now and Pay at the hotel' it was a frustrating nversation. I was livid but there was reasoning with these people even after i had already paid at 1am and now it is almost 2am.
