Great setting service less than expectedPosted Oct 7, 2015
Hotel itself and room was great. Housekeeping 5 star! service extremely slow and front desk seemed more annoyed we didn't have the'ap' to check ourselves in and out. Felt like I was putting them out. I'd recommend heading further west to the ritz in beaver creek or the Arabella before staying here again. Disappointing.

Great hotel in heart of VailPosted Oct 5, 2015
Gorgeous facility, had a room facing the mountain which was beautiful with the fall aspens, perfect location just minutes walk to the lions head area to the west or to shopping and bars to the east. Pricey room, but not out of line with the beauty and convenience

Worth the 5 star rating!Posted Sep 28, 2015
Pros: The rooms were great.
Cons: I think everything was about perfect.
Location: Vail mountain; enough said.
I have stayed in a lot of hotels, but this is by far the best. The room had everything! Balconies, fireplaces, and a deep deep iron tub for my wife. The room was serviced twice a day and had a great view of Vail mountain. Never heard any other guests our entire stay. The only down side was that "The Remedy" was a little slow with the bar service, but the waitress realized the issue and gave us two free desserts for our wait.

Fantastic experience!Posted Sep 23, 2015
Pros: Best pool in Vail, best dining at the hotel compared to others, fabulous staff, cleanest rooms
Location: The location of the hotel is prime, as it is at the western edge of Vail Village.
This was our second time staying at the hotel. We enjoyed our last stay due to the kids loving the heated pool-which is a great plus when you are in the mountains and never know what the weather is going to be like. The room we reserved was just a basic room with two queen beds for our two kids and us. As soon as we got there we were pleasantly greeted by the staff and then upgraded to a two bedroom residence free of charge since the hotel was not full. This has happened at other hotels before, but not such a significant upgrade, which made us feel as though cost was no object, pleasing us and giving us a nice stay was their only concern. Every staff member we ran into was great, the room was perfectly clean and the beds were very comfortable to sleep in. This hotel may not have as much character as the Sonnenalp, but overall I would rate the entire experience/amenities much higher. Breakfast was also great!!!

Pros: Staff was awesome! The room amenities (free water, Nespresso machine, stuffed animal for kids, etc..).
Cons: Beds/pillows. Our room had 2 double beds and I was expecting queen sized beds. The bed was way too small for my husband and I and pillows too fluffy.
Location: A lot of restaurants, shopping and hiking (in the summer). Went to Adventure Ridge and it was not worth the $$. The kids did not enjoy it.
We love the Four Seasons properties. The staff is always amazingly friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean and filled with complimentary amenities. Upon arrival there were tents set up on the floor for our kids and each tent had a kids sized robe and slippers and a complimentary stuffed animal. The room was extremely spacious and beautiful. The pool area was very kid friendly and they had an array of pool toys available for the kids.

Pros: Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Clean and very quite.
Cons: There is no restroom located in or near the exercise room.
Location: Excellent location with easy walking access to Vail Village and Lionshead Village.
Stayed for four days and enjoyed the mountain view, the exercise facilities, and the excellent access to public transportation and the short walking distance to Vail Village and Lionshead Village.
