“The room is big and the city is lovely. but it's really really troublesome to park the car due to the hotel is located in ZTL zone. You have to park your car somewhere outside of the old town, and walk to the hotel to figure out how to park, then get a green card from the reception to display it on your windshield to avoid being fined by the police when drive in to unload the luggage, then drive out of the old town to find a parking space, then walk back to the hotel (6-8 mins walk). “Good hotel. If you drive to there based on Google Map, you better follow the main road instead of a muddy road recommend by Google. The hotel is near the old town (so as ZTL!) and just a 5 minutes walk. Montalcino old town get a lot of places to taste wine. Don't miss it!”

“This is the first night we stayed in Toscana. The hotel is a real castle located on the top of the hill. The beautiful landscape of agricultural view seen from the hotel was panoramic and breathtaking. The family suite was cozy, containing one living room and two bedrooms. The thermal swimming pool was fantastic and spa center was amazing. Breakfast was flourish. The dinner was also good but overpriced actually. As a whole, I highly recommend staying in Catello di Velona as you visit Toscana.”

“Tuscany was a dream come true! Podere Spedalone was magnificent. The staff was welcoming and very attentive always with a smile and accomodating. I loved that several ofvtheir staff spoke Spanish. We had the most fabulous dinner there with other guests. The food was delicious. They paid attention to every detail. We would definitely go back. We highly recommend it. It was very close to Pienza 12 min drive and Montepulciano. LOVED IT!!!”

“We had a beautiful view from the balcony and the room was nice. The bathroom was well renovated. We had a very nice dinner at the restaurant and they catered for gluten free. The only criticism i have is the swimming cap rule also applies to the spa and we felt like it wouldn't be as relaxing so we didn't buy access.”
